Fowler is making some tool of this hole.

Fowler going to make a triple on the 4th, really made a hash of that hole.

Edit; He holed from 20 odd feet to make a 6.

Compton has had two heart transplants. Great to see him doing so well

Really hope the home fans start to put aside their patriotic tendencies and get behind Kaymer. He has come out this week and put the world's best golfers to shame and played at a different level. The clinic he has put on really deserves the crowd's adoration.

The fact that Kaymer has made this a procession has ruined the competition for me. I love watching him though and he will again be No. 1.

Kaymer is limiting the damage on his bad holes. His second shot was a poor choice but to make bogey was ok. The chasing pack are going to drop shots too.

I like how Kaymer is wearing those Ryder cup colours from 2012 :)

Nah, bored of it now. Nothing doing. Congrats Martin, great to see you back in the big time. Argentina/Bosnia Herzegovina for me.

Did rose just knock it long over the green that he said Rory got it wrong on yesterday? Nice!

That's a bit of a count to 10 moment there for Stenson!

At this point either Johnson Compton or Fowler would need to get to -5 and Kaymer would need to have a few brain farts. Neither of which look very likely, Martin looks to be cruising now.

Could still be -5 or -6 for the final number

There's no lake, so the golf club is safe!

Big improvements from Fowler - but still not there yet. Has bad moments that will cost him in the big ones.

But ahead of the rest of the field on a tough week - when Kaymer was just on another planet. BOSS and Mercedes on his shirt sums him up.

From Stephanie Wei on Twitter "My bad on Kaymer becoming 8th player to win wire-to-wire. It's actually only the 7th! Joins Hagen, Barnes, Hogan, Jacklin, Woods & McIlroy"

The US crowd.... They're just short of a disgrace in fairness.

The holder holes a birdie on 18 and while half were cheering, the other half were looking on as if some hack like myself had just tapped in a 2 footer in the weekly comp. Not even a clap of appreciation from them.

Shocking lack of a fore call there from Rickie. Poor form.

You say that but if was Woods dominating the field most people would be fawning all over him.

They really do show their ignorance more often than not. The sooner the better they have one less major played on US soil.

True - in an Irish Open - every Birdie gets a clap. By everybody.

Not to mention - the lad is a nice fella - as inoffensive as they come.

I'd say it is the fact that he is hammering the orange one.

Kaymer: Über alles in der Welt

That's right, I'm playing the German card (I was born there).

    Now over to the footy.
