    Oh the car park dings!!

Twice I've being sat in the car when slap a door is opened, you get out and there opinion is well it's what the plastic bits on the door are for. Inconsiderate pricks.
Woman in a brand new jeep her passenger did it a two weeks ago.
I was very tempted to take her insurance details and see what happens!

    No people have no concept.

Hey at least it's not like in America where the literal use of the bumpers is how you park!

Did I read here before that there is a form to unregister a car?

What do you mean by unregister? Not tax with view to not using on road?

Should I do something about it?

I done that a while ago and I had to go to the local towns commisioner(I think they are called) and he got out a bible and I had to repeat everything he said with my hand on it and fill out the form(I forget what form it was) and he stamps and signs it and you send it off to shannon. It works anyway as the ownership is transfered.

100% truthfull. He took out the bible and told me to put my hand on it. I think he said my right hand and then he said repeat after me and I repeated everything. Couldn't believe it myself. He also asked alot of questions about me and where i lived and how long I lived there. Them questions were without hand on bible.

I would of told him to **** off. That can't be legal, if it is this country really is backwards. I am an atheist but what if I was muslim or some other religion... does he also supply the Quran on hand..

What if you arent a christian ?

Is there a giant spghetti monster owners manual to hand ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,308 ✭✭✭✭wotzgoingon

Maybe it's not like that everywhere. This is a small country town in the west and he was really old and had glasses and also a massive magnifying glass. If I was to have told him to **** off he would not have signed and stamped the form. Also I'm catholic so it din't really bother me much to be honest.

I just find the fact that you can only be truthful if you believe fairtales from 2000+ years ago written 1400 years after the fact, well quite frankly insulting.

Anyone have any idea how to change a Reg Plate bulb in a Mk1 Yaris? I've been looking online but all I'm getting is results for Mk2's.

    **** my absolute life.

the rad is leaking in the corolla. had a look under the bonnet today and the undertray had a little pink puddle in it. whipped it off, dried it up and dried the rad. let the engine run and found a little pinhole in the very bottom corner of one of the rad veins.

i'm so careful when i'm buying and when i looked under the bonnet last week it was bone dry and i'm always wary of stains and spills on the engine covers and undertray, it wasn't even a "cleaned" clean, it was a dusty never been touched sort of way, the whole engine bay was.

i'd like to call it bad luck, but even at that i'm pretty pissed. i'm supposed to be doing wicklow to kildare all this week in it ffs  tempted to throw in a bottle of radweld to tide me over until friday and fit a new radiator then. i'm only fearful of permanently ****ing up the car with radweld.

    didn't need this
