Double sided tape is just so much nicer looking :)

Dunno how people think it isn't strong enough. I nearly tore off the bumper trying to remove the NI plates that were on the car when I got it.

It sure is brutal stuff, I'd be more afraid of removing paint taking them off than of them falling off themselves!

Agree with you there, but tell that to the dealer who put holes in the reg plate over 11 years ago :pac:

Have any of ye come across brown leather in a 5er?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,473 ✭✭✭YbFocus

Not personally but they are out there :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,925 ✭✭✭✭challengemaster

No idea tbh, don't tend to pay much attention to most 5er's. Wouldn't be the biggest fan.

Meant to ask before, colleague at work has in his 04 one. Nasty.. apart from that I haven't seen any other car with it.

Is there a way to check if the Colt's log book has been sent off yet? I got a tax renewal notification email for it 2 days ago...

I don't mind it to be honest but I rather a colour that doesn't stand out.
    My own is grey.

How long is it since you swapped?

Give him a bell and light a fire under him, but you'll more than likely just get the "Oh it was sent the day after" crap off them.

So you gave the logbook to the person you sold the car to? Give them a ring and ask them what the story is.

So I had planned to respray the gtv after the suspension overhaul. Before anyone mentions alfa reliability there is nothing wrong with the suspension, I just want to pollybush it and fit a larger rear arb. Already have a larger front arb on it which has made corners extra fun.

Anyhow the respray has been put on hold indefinitely as The place im working in until the next year has a small car park which has resulted in 3 new dents over 4 days. :( you cant have anything nice in this country, as people just don't respect it. How ****ing hard is it to open a door without bashing it of another one :(

Sorry for the rant but I'm really pissed off about it all.

On the engines with or without the cover I'd go for with on newer engines. Can't beat the busso for having something nice to look at when you have to pop the bonnet. Or the cf1 twin spark.

This is exactly why I plan on keeping my 900 as far away from every car as possible, once it's complete that is
