There was a film that was on television more than once when I was quite young (the early 1990s), usually on The Den.

It was about teenage or maybe preteen boys who are able to travel around the world via stamps.

In the film they would shrink and then be 'absorbed' into the artwork of the the stamps. It was made in the early 1990s, I think, in the English-language, though I'm not sure from where (it could've been Australian, though again, I can't remember).

    Does anyone know?

A man/woman couple is having sex on the side of a highway in America at night, she em, puts her finger up his bum and he reacts in shock and asks her why she is going up his "sh*t shute".

It was set in America, in English, may have been a road movie and the above couple I think had a few other people in their group.

I happened across it one late night on RTE and turned it off but it's bugged me since what it's called. It definitely wasn't Y Tu Mamá También as it was in English.

James Duval might have been in it

Saw a film on film four a few months, maybe even year or so ago, in season of foreign films. Father and son, I think, looking for work in Eastern Europe. Father has sex with prostitute, and berates the son for not joining in! Unrelentingly grim, think girl doing video sex chat is also main character. Bleak is not the word, and not a film I'd want to endure again, but annoying me that I can't think of the name? I thought it had "route" in the title, but search of same in imdb doesn't suggest any answers so must be wrong on that.

Fantastic, thanks, that's it, just reading reviews for it. I thought it would probably be highly rated and appreciated by others but it was just too much for me, found it almost unbearable to watch.

    Phantoms??

if it's the same film that telecaster58 is on about then it's not desperation, although the setting is very similar apart from a few diffrences. it's not phantoms either as i didn't really recognize any of the main cast from it probably would have remembered ben affleck being in it.
could have been a tv movie or possibly straight to video/dvd, not quite sure. it's driving me nuts haha thanks for the suggestions though.

Looking for a movie about a bloodthirsty plant. I remember being shown it as a kid in elementary school. It scared the hell out of most kids but I thought it was pretty cool. It kept saying feed me, FEED ME!! I'm pretty scarce on details as I was only 7 or 8 at the time

I have an old one that I've been trying forever to identify- I saw it when I was a little kid and can't find it now that I'm grown up. It's a western, I think in black and white, with the plot (from what I remember) of the last wagon train full of whiskey being brought into the Territory before it goes dry, and everyone fighting over it in an attempt to secure it for themselves. The only part I really remember is that in the big 'climax' and shootout at the end, the cavalrymen who are escorting the train can't figure out which direction to defend (since they're being fired at from all sides) and after several rounds of "Cover your rear! Cover your other rear! Cover your OTHER rear!", the officer commands them to "Cover BOTH rears!" and they just start facing off and shooting in two directions simultaneously.

Sorry, It's literally been about thirty years since I saw it...
