This has been bugging me for ages, does anyone know/remember if Gustav Holsts- Venus, was used in any black and white movie?

I’ve checked IMDb and Wikipedia, but no joy

When I hear it I can picture a black and white scene of a woman in early 20th century clothes (big skirt, white blouse) in a living/sitting room, large house and she’s worried about something, maybe even pacing.

I’ve never really watched black and white movies but this scene is so vivid in my mind when that music plays.

The scene you describe reminds me of Hitchcock's Psycho when Janet Leighs character is pacing the room with the envelope full of money on the bed.

Wouldn't be Holst music though, but would be quite similar.

It is one of the few black and white movies I’ve watched, so you could be onto something!

I must try to find that scene now to see if it’s the one I’m thinking of, thanks for that.

WLB was one of my first DVDs. I remember it being half decent. I might check it out again.
