again you are just assuming from nothing - pointless

and , as i have stated , i have no problem with SF but just because "nobody else" has a problem stating who they cast for , does not mean i have to , nor does it indicate what way i voted either way.

its just none of your business.

you are starting to look a little foolish now - go to bed

Maybe you didn't bother voting...eh? Ranting on a forum is so much easier. As I said, you are anonymous on here, what difference does it make if you say? Only fear of ridicule :)

Interestingly, Paddy Power is offering odds-on for a FF/FG coalition government after the next election.

Which would presumably then make SF the official opposition.[/QUOTE]

and this is what i am hoping for , because then they will promise the moon and the stars , then when they enter government , and i believe they will , they will be faced with the cold reality of ACTUALLY being in government

and every pledge and promise they ever mentioned will be rolled out , to sink them like every other government party.

and its that point i will laugh my ass off , just like i would if it was FF FG or LAB , because at the end of the day , they will have to face reality that is this basket case of a "state"

It's actually a thread about a convicted child killer canvassing for a politician.

Thats a bit rich coming from someone who was part of an organisation which was responsible for the deaths of many Irish children.

Why is it idiotic to ask somebody who they supported in a discussion on elections? Why is it only shinner bashers who hide behind an anonymity excuse on an anonymous forum?

again - whom i voted for or not is my business , no one else , not yours , not anyone on AH , and i wont be browbeaten ( very very poorly TBH ) into revealing my deep dark secret .

you are just going to have too die not knowing who the funk dj jarvis voted for in 2014 local and European elections.

For all you (or I, for that matter) know, he could have been a bomb disposal expert or in the medical corps - which would actually have saved peoples lives, but there we go.

It doesn't matter what part of the BA, the organisation as a whole is tainted from its murderous role here on this island.

Well when you put it like that........

(I'm sure the taliban had bomb disposal and medics also, so let's not tar them all with the same brush)

Arguably they were worse. At least the british soldiers didnt get up that morning with the intention of murdering children

Definitely, that's why they left their barracks with pockets bulging with ammo they weren't authorised or issued to carry ( stolen or wrongly appropriated from Army stores if you like ). That's why there was organised lying to enquiries afterwards and even suspected planting of material "evidence" to justify the shootings......

When will people cop on to the simple fact that conflict or war if you like is a very nasty business and that completely innocent people get killed by deliberate acts or as unintended victims of military operations.

It's a simple fact of life that everyone involved in a conflict has blood on their hands, does that make their contribution to society at a later stage less worthy ?

I reckon a lot of people could do with taking a look at Elizabeth II and watch and learn how to put a troubled past to bed and create circumstances to build a future.

    You where saying about childishness?

The only explanation for an anonymous poster on an anonymous foru not saying who they voted for while castigating others for voting for a party, is embarrassment or shame.
    I'll leave it there.

your'e dead right , many involved in the conflict have turned out to be decent people with a sorry past , but why not admit their past ? it worked in south Africa , Rwanda and other places , a putting to bed this blight on our island.

all sides have questions to answer , no question , but only one side is trying to gain power in our republic , i for one want some answers , and not just from them

but you are aware that my casting of my vote does not really carry the same gravitas as someone admitting to murder ?

That is what I was saying, it is so easy to do on an internet forum where you are anonymous. Must be a BIG reason why you wouldn't.
But keep calling on everyone else to be honest, you have no sense of irony either it seems.

In 1984 in India there was a chemical leak at a factory, up to 16,000 innocent civilians dies there.

    http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bhopal_disaster

The factory was owned by a company called union carbide.

    http://www.unioncarbide.com/products

They produce and purchase ethylene among many other chemicals which are used in many many many everyday products that each and everyone of us use. Have you no shame for supporting an organisation that was complicit in the deaths of so many innocent people?

See how stupid your argument is now?

Anonymity is a right not an excuse. If someone chooses to excersise that right when strangers demand to know who they voted for then maybe you should respect their wishes.
Or is the old shinner tactic of bullying and intimidation still alive and well?

"They haven't gone away you know" seems a very appropriate quote about now.
