Just back from Asia having completed two legs on an Emirates A380. First time onboard. WOW ! What an experience.very exciting. The size of it inside.
I must give full credit to Emirates also, travelling in Economy is like business class with other airlines.

    Slightly off topic warning -

There's an Aer Lingus just landed at LHR from DUB. According to the reg the aircraft is currently DUB based but I can't see any more departures from LHR-DUB today? There is one to ORK so how does this work - am I right in saying Lingus don't base any aircraft at LHR?

USAF Troop charter. Quite the regular.

Ah I thought it looked a bit like a diversion too. Fr24 maybe posting an error again too, with the origin and destination both US airports.

Not really, never usually does have the Origin/Destinations for Omni.

Just using the same callsign as the previous flight. BIF-BGR-SNN

Two gulfstreams inbound DUB in close proximity from the atlantic, Oscar - coincidence?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,564 ✭✭✭✭Oscar Bravo

Approaching the west coast is Bombardier N141QS. Meanwhile the other 2 Gulfstream IV's inbound Dublin are N455QS and N461QS

Getting a tad busy switching runways at DUB, but nothing too noticeable at all so far.

The Air Malta one is interesting- any time there is an election being held in Malta, Air Malta organise special charters to bring Maltese back to Malta to vote- in this case for the EU election. They even only sell the tickets to Maltese nationals!

What's been happening at DUB just now, lots of holding but seems to be resuming to normal now

ETA: Seems there was an emergency landing and things got congested quickly.
