    Yep just tried an avi file and it's working fine, Must try avoid mp4 from now on so. Thanks again

    I'm also struggling to get CrossEPG to behave in Fresh Pots image, it crashes on reading titles when you run it. I've tried removing it completely and reinstalling from the plugins menu and from an sh4 ipk I downloaded but no joy. Anyone get it working or know a fix?

    I reverted back to 0.6.2 coz the newer one did seem to have a few quirks. As I said above I deleted the crossepg folder and downkoad the old ipk. Everything has been a1 since.

    If I get the time I might reupload my image with the old version on it again. I'll put the new sky skin and skinned virtual zap in it too. Probably will be Wednesday when I get around to it.

    That's the thing, I cannot revert back, I remove all traces and install 0.6.2 but it suffers from the same issue.

    Zap is just changing channel. Virtual zap is a info bar that you can use to browse now and next on channels up and down the list without having to change channel or open up the full epg. Similar to what sky/Upc have.

    Did someone post a replacement file to improve audio volume (think it may have been for Hyperion4 but not sure), cant seem to find it now in either thread...
    ..Or am I dreaming

    Just want to ask is anybody running XBMC on enigma2. What are the pros and cons (if any) is it stable. Heard of it crashing and not supporting certain channels. Feedback would be appreciated.

    Nobody in this thread is, satellite boxes that support xbmc have only just appeared on the market

    Wondering if anyone could help,
    I have my box going into my modem direct but tried to split the signal as it only has 1 LAN connection,
    The split works to my repeater but the AA2 loses signal and I can't find an IP address for it,
    My BB is with 3 and I have a SIM CARD MODEM not a dongle.

    S i upgraded to Hyp 4 and crossepg is not working. I have downloaded the earlier version and i have deleted the crossepg folder on the box.

    can someone give me simple instructions to install the crossepg file manually?

    any help appreciated.

    Scrap that, i instsalled crossepg 6 and it still wont work. any ideas?

    Is the hard drive mounted, and have you crossepg directed to the hard drive? and astra 28.4 unticked in the settings?

    I've been trying to get this working also to no avail. Drive is mounted (I can record) and shown in CrossEpg setup screen.

    Removed 0.8.1 plugin from plugins menu, removed folder from HDD (and crossepg.dat) and crossepg folder from the box via FTP, will need to check later to confirm exact path here...

    Installed 0.6.2 from PKTeam in UI, installed ok, looks ok in setup but takes only about 10 seconds to run when it should take more to pull down the info and it should say "95kb downloaded" or something in the progress bar. Tried with 28.2 selected only, 28.4 and both.

    I notice when I go to CrossEPG in Setup menu it still reports 0.8.1, this may be cosmetic however as crossepg DB reports 0.6.2 when you hit 'about' in the plugin.
    Might have a scout around for some logs later..

    I think Fresh pots is going to come to the rescue one of these days with his backup. He said a few days ago that he'd upload his backup when he got time this week.

    Why dont ye try givecredits Hyperion 4 backup ,it has Crossepg 0.6.2 in it and is a fully featured backup

    Use the Download menu in Plugins or just FTP the .ipk files to the /TMP folder, telnet to the box and type IPKG INSTALL xxxxxxx.ipk. This should work for most plugins. CoolTVGuide is linked to the EPG button

    The image is setup to use DHCP automatically and is also set for using HDMI at 720p. Terrestrial channels may need to be rescanned depending on your geographical location.

    FTP and Telnet - Username "root", Password "pkteam"
    OSCam - http://box_ip:8888 - Username "root", Password "oscam"
    OpenWebIf - http://box_ip (Default Port 80)
    DreamBoxEdit paths - /etc/enigma2/

    I had the same problem, it was working perfect then suddenly stoped. I had to untick 28.2 from open tv providers, then use rytec and bbc xml tv. this is not ideal but at least its working. Also set to keep old data for 1 day, because it can build up qucikly

    Just a word of warning if its working do not go back into the menu for what ever reason it does not work after.
