Rodgers won a LFC manager of the year award?

I didn't know i could laugh at title loss jokes yet, but Gerrard himself landed a good one.

Are you doing that thing where you say its not an anti-jinx thing but it really is an anti-jinx thing?

    I don't even know anymore :(

By the way, with all the talk of Suarez and Sterling, do we think that Sturridge is getting the credit he deserves? He seems like a sensitive guy who needs the arm around the shoulder - he has had an outstanding season yet doesn't get mentioned so much, always one of the first to be subbed too even if Suarez is having a rare bad game.

I love it! and this summer is going to be highly entertaining I think, Liverpool may be able to hijack some Spurs bids :p

Me too! Will be more fun this time, we won't have to shoot down so many with the "No CL footie" gun.

and Henderson (not that he is going anywhere)

Yep - Migs, Sakho, Gerrard, Sturridge, Sterling, Suarez, Coutinho and Hendo are must-haves for me.

    1. Would like to see a stronger box-to-box player alongside Stevie, which I guess could be Hendo, but also looking at 2015 and Stevie dropping out as a starter.
    2. Could care less whether we keep Skrtel, Agger, Johnson or Enrique. Flanno has been good, but responsible for at least 4 goals in the last 7/8 games. Ilori is doing well at Granada, and I would like to see us give him a chance, we should have enough games to keep him involved.
    3. Borini and Suso back and 1 top class attacker will be enough I think. No point in signing a huge striker if it means leaving one out regularly (of him, Dan and Luis).

I'm guessing the release of the info know is to counteract the bad week, and some good news would be a good thing.

The Cafu one was very good. Some reporter took the piss out of him as well.

Going into the last game of the season actually having something to play for is quite the novel feeling. And its not about securing a top 4/Europa league place either.

I honestly cannot remember the last time I watched Liverpool with eyes and ears on another game going on at the same time, even if it is just a very slim chance of city ballsing it up.

Are they Rossiter's parents? If it is his old fella was in dream team once upon a time. Cant remember the characters name. Anyone?

Edit: Ray Wyatt is the character but I must be wrong, head off him though and he was from Liverpool.

what is most surprising is how good our season has been despite our poor signings

mignolet - ok, some good saves, some high profile errors in key games and needs to be more commanding in his six-yard box

    6/10

cissokho - tries hard, athletic but doesn't look great on the ball

    5/10

Llori - loaned out, didn't play

    no rating

Aspas - Looks nervous and physically not up to it, seems to lack confidence - not contributed at all

    4/10

Moses - the new fans booboy, poweful and fast but lacks composure at times and seems out of sync with the fast interplay of the other attacking players

    5/10

Luis Alberto - another one who looks weak and underpowered, has shown signs of being neat and tidy on the ball

    5/10

Toure - started well but then proceeded to become a little error-prone and can look clumsy and reckless at times (not ideal for a centre-half)

    5/10

Sakho - big strong guy who looks to dominate cente-forwards but again can look dodgy on the ball and like the rest of the defense - tends to go into panic/retreat mode when we concede i.e. he's not the commanding figure/leader we need (which is to be expected as he's a foreign guy coming to a new league)

    6/10

......Imagine what a few good signings will do for us if this season is the result of such a poor hit-rate in the transfer market

"@LFCTransferNRS: Spanish newspaper 'Sport' claims #LFC chief scout Julian Ward watched winger Antoine Griezmann last Monday. He has a £24.6m buyout clause."

    :)

Just looking at Antoine Griezmanns stats - get him! Given his release price and that Konoplyanka is about 10 million cheaper does this tell us something about the clubs ambitions for the summer?

Just seen he shares the same agent as Sakho (and M'Vila)

This is still the only concern for me about the club currently. Our transfers have been pretty poor overall, we've got to improve there this summer with more money and CL football available.

Cant really argue with that and hopefully we see quality additions that go straight into the first team.

no more 'roll of the dice' signings please.

Ya but when you are buying from the lower shelves you can end up with some rubbish from time to time. I still don't think we will be able to buy the Top Top players due to wages clubs like PSG, Madrid, City and United can offer but we should definitely be able to compete proper for the likes of Mkhitaryan, Willian, Konoplyanka etc

Last nights result may not be all that bad with regards to the title (with regards to the game itself conceding 3 in the last 12 minutes was dreadful)

But we still needed City to drop points only we need them to lose instead of draw one of their games now assuming we beat Newcastle.

We were never going to make up a minimum of 11 goals in 2 games.

Your not factoring in pressure. We win, it means City have to win. GD was a non issue as you say, we were never going to make that up. Less pressure on City now. The only way I see City under pressure now is if we lead early against Newcastle on Sunday, but thats clutching at straws. I cant see West Ham scoring at City never mind winning
