A true gent a legend in the real meaning of the word. I grew up watching him he was a hero to me from that era and he stood by the club and fans through the troubles of today
RIP Sandy thoughts and prayers go out to your family

So you're a cash/cheque only company now?? Sounds like a solid business plan moving forward.

Really is this needed today some of us true football fans know at a time like this some things are more important than petty snipes.
A true gentleman and legend was lost to football give it a rest for a few days. You will have plenty of time to start your sniping after that

A tax dodging club ran by dodgey business men and you wonder how 70 million is mismanaged?

Cheques/Cash only for Season Tickets next season aswell No Credit/Debit Cards,....I think they are trying to get as much cash out of the fans before it blows up again

Value of the club has went down 20% in the 2 hours since the report was made public

Rangers spent £67.2m between May 2012 and December 2013 - while they were in the lowest 2 divisions in Scottish football.

    Some things go beyond rivalries.
Sadly not for everyone, it seems.

This man and his club are showing more respect than some of their fans

Well done to him and his club and all the tic fans who have shown the utmost respect to a legend

So we are not allowed to comment on the report that was released today?

If it is so disrespectful then why was the report released this morning?

R.I.P to Jardine but you should all be angry with this. To squander 70 million in that length of time - playing in the bottom rungs of Scotland, is nothing short of farcical.

I only commented on the report, where did I show any disrespect to Jardine? He's a big loss to your club and my thoughts are with his family and friends. But get off your high horse when you are trying to tar people as being disrespectful.

+1 out of order calling us disrespectful.

I am going to answer this once of course every Rangers fan I know is angry but we also feel that even tomorrow there will be more of a remembrance of a true gent than showing our anger at them. We know they are stealing left right and centre we also know that the uptake on renewal of season tickets is very very slow a lot slower that the gangsters will admit. So you can of course make posts about our problems all you want but as I have now explained to you what is going on I won't be commenting on anything about the spivs and their nonsense for a few days. I doubt any of the Rangers fans on here will.

Also their is a hell of a lot worse among tic fans on the wider internet so untangle your knickers. All very defensive all of a sudden.

Carry on chaps I am sure you will anyway

Using the death of Jardine to try bury any debate about current affairs? What a nonsense!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

    Debate ?

Some of you aren't in here to debate anything, but only to wind Rangers fans up.

Nobody is trying to bury anything, BBE is merely pointing out that a little ounce of respect when Rangers lost one of their best players ever is not that much to ask.
    Then again, apparently it is.

Don't bother mate it's not worth leave them to post about the clubs problems until there hearts content. The thing is there can be no debate as we know exactly what's going on so it can only be talking in circles

Rangers fans head in the sand again it seems, I seen today on STV the reporter said Rangers had previously "Came out of liquidation" Im no expert on the ins and outs of business but if your liquidated you are gone, you cant come back.

New club seems to be spending money they dont have like the old one, Hopefully for their fans, the 3rd club will spend wisely and be back in the SPL in 2020ish :D

We heard this rhetoric from ye before as you tried to stifle previous discussions many times

Im glad that ye are on the same page as those who you dismissed many times before on here. The same cant be said of season ticket holders as of yet.

The report was released this morning. It's not like we are making this news up. Their club is ****ed again, now seems like a good time to discuss it.

Or is there an official time frame for when discussion is allowed to commence? I haven't heard about it if so..

    It's called common decency.

The fact that the report has been released today is bad timing, but someone who was dear to all Rangers fans passed away so is it that weird to expect a bit of calm in here ?
I would expect Rangers fans on here to behave with respect when someone of the Celtic family passed away and the financial issues were reversed.

Isn't McCulloch on close to 1 million a year? I'm sure there's some more players not far off him, doesn't be long all adding up, crazy money to spending on the lowest leagues in Scotland.

I'm pretty sure they were compelled by stock exchange rules to issue it this morning. Have to agree with the lads here not the time for petty point scoring and snide remarks.
