Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lad in the audience waving to his friends and family down the country, you would think it was 1956.

Gaybo would have made him sing a makey-uppy song. I miss Unkie Gaybo.

Used to follow this thread for the sheer comedic value - it was never intentionally funny! (And it was funny.......but not in a contrived way)

Now......it's not so funny - at all!

I'm sure we'll all try to do better....

This song is the misery slot. Highlighting the death of fun in Ireland.

Don't you just hate it when a very mediocre singer takes himself so serious.

So Linda, tell us about your breast cancer, tell us about Bernie's death, and tell us about how your late father was a child abuser?

Yep, typical Late Late Show Friday night feel-happy stuff........

    THIS is the misery slot.
Every family has its tragedies. Why do some people think that their tragedy is more important than everyone else's.

Ah jeez no! There's absolutely no joy in watching the late late anymore. Its gone to a stage where it's better to just read the obituary section of a newspaper.

I'm watching Sophie's Choice next Friday night instead of the Late Late Show, and the following Friday night I'll watch Schindler's List, and the Friday after that, I'll watch The Champ. I reckon I'll go to bed a lot happier.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,042 ✭✭✭Hitchens

Linda tries to lighten things by telling the funny things Bernie used to do, but Tubs quickly brings it back to the death of her husband and mother
