Is there any other kind of envy?

I dunno. Like most people I lust after that Perfect Regulated Mod™, but I've been using mechs for so long my wattage has increased.
MECHS WERE ONLY SUPPOSED TO BE A STOP-GAP WHILE I GOT MY VV MOD FIXED.
    Life is tough.

Back on topic -> today I ordered FT's black aluminium Nemesis tubes which will arrive...sometime. Small bit of weight shaved off the mod which is a great thing for me.

I still love my mechs and use my Dingo in tiny mode in work. My wife has just stolen my Roller to use with the Kayfun so that's gone forever!

Think we all yearn for that perfect mod/atty combo...but in a way I hope I never find it :)

Nemesis clone & Taifun GT from Fasttech

I ordered a replacement mini pro tank 2. It had been slightly leaky until I discovered the stem had snapped. I don't over tighten anything ever, so it must of been brought on by metal fatigue I got a fair bit of use out of it anyway. It does vape very well so I had to get another. After reading all the comments on the kayfun I might have to invest in one, but clone or original that is the question.

Get the cheap $14 one. Its a great atty and will give you a good idea if you like kayfuns or not.

Yesterday I bought an Innokin MVP 2.0.

Today, sadly, I'm selling it on the for sale thread, at less than half the price.

Ordered a bottle of that juice too, should be here tomorrow. Really looking forward to trying it! I wanted to get some more Bubbers Bounty but unfortunately the drop down menu on ESI were fooked and wouldn't let me select a size or mg, so I thought I'd try something new.

Had anyone tried the Suicide Bunny juices on ESI? They all seem a bit sweet and fruity for my taste, but I must admit I'm curious.

Just got a bottle of Derailed from them last night. I broke the post on my trident soon after it arrived so haven't tried it properly yet but it's very tasty in a protank.

As a result of said trident failure I'll be picking up an Origen dripper from ESI this evening, hopefully it's worth the cash. Very low on atomisers at the moment after breaking the glass on my fogger, trident breaking and Iclear 30S's being a big pile of s***e so needs must. Still waiting on a kayfun lite and taifun GT from slowtech.

69 mod also arrived last night from fasttech, great looking device.

Finally getting into making my own coils due to availability issues of Aspire Nautilus coils...needs will as needs must :D

Mothers Milk is very nice indeed, haven't tried derailed just yet.

An evod starter kit for my mum (gave her my kanger twist last week to convert her from those njoys) some liquid for her and a nautilus for myself and a top up on my own juices :). Bring on the vape mail. Looking forward to the nautilus.

    Ordered:

Innokin VTR for my good lady wife...so she doesn't kill any more batteries by running them flat in my mechs.

Kayfun Lite plus...for me as my wife stole my first one.

We seeing a pattern here ?

I've been dealing with terrible leaking and gurgling from all 3 of my Kanger Evods for a while now, so I finally ordered an Aspire Mini Nova and some replacement heads. They're waiting for me downstairs when I go for lunch and I am unreasonably excited.

They all leak after a few months. It's down to the O'rings as they breakdown due to the acidity of the liquid and heat. Fast tech sell bags of 8mm and 10mm O'rings for less than a dollar.

Aye, I would expect as much through wear and tear, but do date I've had horrible luck. Gurgling has started within hours of using a new clearo on some occasions.

I've heard good things about Aspire though, so fingers crossed.

The mini protank 2 is the best clearomiser I've ever used. I was using ce4's, evod's, iclear16/30's. The mp2 was the best, I'm now using bodge f17 carto and it just works flawlessly.

Weird, never had that issue and I've been using the same eVod head for the past 8 months... Then again, I cleaned them up regularly and set up my own coils. The issue he was describing can come from a plethora of reasons, I've started a thread about coiling up with cotton so that gurgling is out of the picture (so much that you can burn the cotton when there's no liquid in there as they soak up everything to the last drop without gurgling...)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,719 ✭✭✭Hal1

I agree there are ways to remedy the gurgling and leaking, but not everyone is willing to spend the time and effort doing so. They just want it to work and if it doesn't they move on to something else.

I still on occasion use the clearo's and I have built my own coils but for the moment I'm loving these bodge's :D.

I tried a few Boge XLs and they just weren't doing it for me, clearos (when they work) give me exactly the vape I'm after. Thanks for the tip, if the Aspire doesn't work out I'll try the Mini Protank 2. If that doesn't work I'll hulk out.

Today i received the brass Sentinel M16 Telescopic Mechanical clone Mod and i have to say, i LOVE it, i have two nemises clones and i only got the sentinel because it was so cheap around 12euro and looked nice but i wasnt expecting great things.

Boy was i wrong, first it is a stunning lookin mod, nice and heavy , fits lovely in the hand with no slippage as the center is recessed and grooved , has a floating positive pin so no messing with it every time i change the atty

The switch work just flawlessly and easily, the nemesis clones are a thing of beauty but the points mentioned above make the sentinel a much better buy imo and cheaper, only draw back for me is it cant be kicked as far as i know

Still waiting on my Sentinel, can't be kicked with a 18650 but you can with an 18500 or 18350

I agree, not everyone would spend time and effort for this. So here would be the easy fix - when you open the clearo to fill it up with liquid, check that post where the wick sits and make sure that the wick material is fluffed up (you can do that with a pin or anything sharp) so that there aren't any gaps between the wick and the metal post. Also make sure that the middle post where the wick sits is screwed all the way on the ring. Enjoy vaping!
