Lads, the football bet of the week is Bayern to win to nil @ 13/8 tomorrow night. They will own the ball against United and despite Rooney bagging a few in the last couple of games, he's the sole threat and they'll handle him easily enough by playing round him while he chases in vain. A free kick or penalty is United's only hope of a goal. With no RVP, no Mata and the lampshade that is Fellani in midfield, it'll be embarrassing. Guardia, like they did the last two seasons, will make sure Bayern are out to settle the tie in the first leg.

OK Jimjamcos, I will follow you on this. Your ade bet tells me you know a footy bet when you see one. I'm not going wild by the way, a score thats it.

Backed PSG at 11/10. Spoils were 23/20 which I hoped to take by dropping into a shop on the way home but it's gone

Sets me up nicely for Aintree. Only frustrating thing is they drifted to 6/5 around 7pm

You're frustrated because you missed out on 1/10 of a point? What a perfectionist!

Its a 10% differnce in the ROI, these are the things that really matter in punting and seperate the consistent winners from the casual punter.

If you were lodging a lump sum in the bank for example and one bank said they would offer you 3% interest but there was another bank offering 13% under the exact same conditions, do you not think it would be pretty foolish to lodge the money to bank A??

Why are they running Boston Bob over 2 and a half again tomorrow?

Are they trying to get him handicapped for something

I though they might give him a sighter in the Topham with an eye on next year's national.

Brilliant card Johner. Some Tikket could be well handicapped, Le Vant could be above average

Only had a couple of bets at Aintree but boy rarely has a festival gone by that I've got so much wrong.

Last text I sent to a mate today said that Whisper was a shocking price, just before he won!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,681 ✭✭✭BumperD

Whisper sweated up so much before the off he looked like a piebald who'd contracted the Ebola virus. He then pulled for his head. How he managed to win after all that is a mystery.

US masters this week. I like to do a few each yr in the majors. I've spread myself thin for some very small ew stakes on this lot. All each way Cabrera, Jimenez, Moon Bae, Huh, liessman. Amongst the favs kuchar/day/stenson would be my picks but for the buttons I'm putting on I've gone for the longshot value.
