Its a joke ...well could happen.

some Twitter guys (rival fans) are looking for donations (need another £900) to fly a second plane with a #MOYESIN banner.:D

This could well happen! It would be hilarious for every other teams fans in the premiership.

A few players here and there. We aren't constantly producing players who can step into the first team in the way the likes of Giggs etc did. It could be much better.

That "Class of 92" was a complete once-off and will never be replicated by any team in world football. Youth players are very hard to spot, you'll be lucky to get one first-team player out of 20 in a lot of teams.

What about Barca? They appear to have more success with their academy than United. I think having their B team in the second division really helps.

Could 2 planes happen, god we're going to be laughed at, Sky are licking their lips at this drama, they'll have loads of cameras aimed at the sky tomorrow

This plane thing really is cringe.

If you support any other team in PL, hell the world, you can rightly laugh at this.

Better off giving the cost of plane and flight to a charity or worthy cause and save some face.
Its not just cringe but embarrassing - this will be shown across the footballing world... how the mighty have fallen will be the order of the day.

Im not trying to be smart here but What is wellbecks best position? Left, right 10role? Striker? Im not too sure and i dunno if the boss's do either

His finishing still needs improving to hold down the strikers role. He's better on the left than anything else United have right now, including Mata and Kagawa. Better than Nani because he's able to play from minute one in game one. Better than Adnan because he can track back and win possession. Better than Ashley because Ashley rarely plays well.
Welbecks commitment and attitude has been 100% on the ball.

He has been one of a handful who has at least given 100% each game. I cant fault him and wont for that.

But I still like to think we can produce better footballers too now and again.

He's far ahead of Cleverley in terms of United standard so it's more that you put him with Cleverley when evaluating the youth system.

A player of Welbeck's standard out of the youth system every season would be great, considering there has hardly been any since the '92 crowd.

Is it Adnan, Evans, Danny, the extent of it? Party boy Brown couldn't sustain his form.

You can't expect any youth system to regularly produce players of the class of Giggs, it's just unrealistic. And thats even before you factor in that the general standard of the league has improved since those days. Changes in regulations to where clubs can get young players from (Beckham wouldnt have been able to sign for us under this rule) and amount of time the club is actually allowed work with kids have dramatically effected the quality of our output post 92.

Seriously dont get what's "embarrassing" about people voicing the opinions, especially when it will help get the useless element out quicker, which does the club well.

Barcelona are also one of the biggest spending teams in Europe...look at the amount of money they spent on players who never even played with the team!!

2 planes over old Trafford?! imagine one of the signs got caught in the 2nd planes engine and both planes came crashing down onto the old Trafford pitch... all live on sky sports.:eek:

Whatever about the first banner, anyone who flies a Moyes In banner or something to that extent afterwards deserves to be shot down with a RPG.

Those bastards have no idea what damage something like giving the impression we stand by Moyes can do. Do we WANT to make this decline irreversible?

Results will determine Moyes tenure in any case... there is no need for this type of s.hite ... embarrassing Moyes as a man in front of 75,000 people in OT and tens of millions around the world is despicable. The camera will show the plane/sign and then show Moyes reaction....:(

Despite his many 'hopefully' and his meekness in interviews, he's gotta be one tough cookie sitting in that seat. :o

All good points. I don't expect the club to make more players like Giggs though. I was just using him as an example of a player who made the first team and stayed in it. I guess Fletcher would be a better example.

Im aware of that but they also seem to have an excellent youth setup. I think a lot of it has to do with the different system to England though.

The match is on BT tomorrow.

This means that even more of a deal will be made of it.

BT Sport will do absolutely ANYTHING to boost their ratings against Sky. That small box down the left hand side of the screen will be in full use in the first 10 minutes tomorrow.

Absolutely embarrassing for all United fans.

If results were enough, he would be gone by now.

And really? THIS is embarrassing him personally? What, is he unaware of how some want him out? Does he think other people don't know people want him out?

There is no personal attack, no one is posting nude pictures or anything personal. Just a statement. The fans, or part of them, want him out.

Personally, if I were him, I would be more embarrassed by the pathetic preformance he has been putting in and up with for the last few months...

Hargreaves and Owen are rumoured to by flying radio controlled planes across the fake pitch in the studio at half time.

Embarrassing him personally...jesus wept. He's embarrassed the club for months on end, the club that supposedly no one man is bigger than. He's in the job 8 months and he's already seen as bigger than the club, for all the wrong reasons.

    Michael Owen Commentry......

    1. “What a feeling it is to be a manager and bring someone on.”
    2. “It’s a good run but it’s a poor run, if you know what I mean?”
    3. “It’s a nightmare for strikers when defences push up. You’ve got to go with them or you’re offside.”
    4. “Wenger will be quite happy that Arsenal haven’t conceded”. Yep, probably.
    5. With Liverpool launching a counter-attack against Arsenal: “They’re outswarming them!”.
    6. “Pellegrini will speak to them and City will come out with a fresh set of impetus.”
    7. “That’s simple as…simple”.
    8. “To stay in the game, you have to stay in the game”.
    9. You have to believe your own eyes, don’t you?”
    10. After Chelsea scored their sixth goal against Arsenal: “This is turning into a rout.”
    11. “That would’ve been a goal had it gone inside the post.”
    12. “You need people who score goals. That’s how you win games”.

    after tomorrow.....
    13. "Them airplanes look very small in the sky, but that's because they are faaaaarrrr awaaaayyyyy"

Our Youth system is actually appalling the last 10-15 years.

God help us if Welbeck and Cleverley is the best we get from this.

I actually posted that and went "I'm going to get roasted here, I've forgotten a gem"

Then I thought back and there really isn't anyone. Sorry, but for all the huffing and puffing made about how Ferguson developed our youth system and all that jazz, it hasn't really reaped any rewards. I'm sure it's maybe making the club a decent profit, couple of mill here and there for acadamy graduates that get sold to other clubs, but we havn't integrated anyone of note in nearly two decades. Thats shocking

Barcelona, Real Madrid etc. whilst might not either, they produce GENUINE quality players, that you will see playing in the top leagues around Europe.

You can barely watch a La Liga game on sky without being reminded how X player was with Madrids youth system. They tend to go spunk a fortune on a new player, but the youth graduate tends to be a pretty talented player who moves to another club in La Liga.

When you look at what we even sell to others, there is rarely if ever a REALLy good player, who maybe just got stung with us buying someone better. We normally end up buying, because there is nothing of worth in the ranks to step up.

Was plenty mooted about it by Gill and Ferguson before the changeover as how it would help keep the club competitive for years to come, sorry, more bull**** that Moyes most likely had to come to grips with aswell. Let alone is a now underfire manager going to blood in any young player. It was gamble enough with Januzaj in his first season in charge.

Go on, be more dramatic. You know you can be.

Before United fans used to always give Chelsea stick for sacking managers to quickly, now it's a group of United fans who are going to great lengths to get their manager sacked quickly. Amazing how quickly things change.
