I had Cream cradled in my arms earlier because he's a freak who likes that kind of thing and I decided to sing him a lullaby. He fell asleep in my arms then when I stopped singing he just stared at me and stopped purring till I started singing again! :)

now that is just pure spoiling!!!

Bruce has started running! He's so funny he'll go off sniffing something then you see his head popping up looking around for me and when i put out my arms he races over ears flying and bum wiggling. It's so cute. He's getting more energetic every day, it's hard to believe he's ten.

We went to the park today, doggie was mental and off lead. She disappeared for a minute and came racing back panicking looking for me and hubs having dropped her ball somewhere. We looked and couldn't find it so continued with our walk. About 45 mins later we were 5 mins from the car (having done a loop) she tears off and comes back with her ball as proud as punch! Hilarious!

My stomach growled while dude was curled up on my chest, he stared for about 10 seconds then proceeded to slap my tummy several times. Obviously it said something that greatly offended him!

My dog is wagging her tail in her sleep. Would love to know what she's dreaming of. Wag wag wag

Toby has gotten a real taste for our bed. He had been curling up at my feet for about a week but this week he's moving further up the bed towards me. Last night he was snuggled right in against me with his head against my hand. When I'm moving around the house in the evenings he sometimes sits at the foot of the stairs and meows for me to go up to bed with him:)

Cat and dog asleep together in dog bed in sitting room for the first time. OH popped the dog in beside the cat after her walk tonight and they're both still there. Cat very relaxed and stretching out, dog a little more cagey. (She loves when the cat is awake so she can chase him and lick him but not sure of him when he's relaxed it seems! ) Very cute!

Ive just realized that I can eat nothing without the dogs STARING at me - sending those "GIVE ME SOME" thoughts. Ive also realized that I always give them a tiny piece before I finish, proving that I have zero willpower I guess:o - but my daughter says that stare is them hypnotizing me :D Clever Dogs!?

My mum told me about some tv documentary about amimals communicating with people and there was some trial where dogs were begging for scraps off people and they favoured non blindfolded ones over blindfolded every time. :D

Toby went up to our bed about 6.30am and only came down 10 minutes ago for lunch, he's vanished now and I suspect he's gone back up. The routine in our house is Jazzy wakes me by nibbling my hair, I go to the bathroom, go back to bed for a few mins so he can roll around on me. Then I go down open the front door and Toby comes out of his cathouse and in for breakfast. He could come in the cat flap but he loves his insulated cat house.

They all have breakfast about 6 and then I go back to bed, with Toby and Poppy right behind me. Poppy's a funny little thing, she's the smallest and yet she pushes the boys around. The only 1 she doesn't bother is Toby.

Nala and her buddy ace (boxer) were wrestling in the sitting room when i blanket fell on them. They got all tangled up, wrestled a bit more and now they're sleeping under it :)

I sometimes tell my guy the story of how he was rescued from some bad ppl. I actually think he knows it by heart as he sits looking up into my face wagging the tail.
His brown jrt little eyes like he's looking into you're soul. <3 love him too bits

My cat Milse always knows her favourite toy under the couch so it is out of her reach. I always get it for her. Ever since she was a wee kitten she has been doing the same thing, knocks it under the couch or fridge and then sits beside me looking up until I go over and fetch it for her. :)

I do that too!! I usually end up crying, the dogs just sigh (with boredom) and fall asleep!!

Fell asleep last night in the crook of my arm, with her head on my shoulder, quietly snoring in and whistling out, with random twitches every so often as her dream brought her to the park to run with her buddies. I'm a sucker - hook, line and sinker she has my heart. I thought I would burst with love for her.

Our labrador got stuck up a tree years ago. Actually it was the middle of a hedge tbh.. There was a b.itch in heat somewhere so he climbed up the middle of our 3m high hedge to be able to get over our 1.8m fence. Managed it a couple of times, another couple of times he had to be plucked out of the hedge around head height!

Walked in on the animals a while ago with a guilty look on the dog.

Caught the cat giving the dog a massage, with the kneading thing cats do with their paws.

The cat didnt care less but the dog gave me a look as if to say 'What'. The dog must have liked it.

Does anyone ever play chasing with their cat? Funniest thing EVER!! Eddie was hyper when I came in from work and we had a great game of stalk and chase.

Love the upside down V-shape (^) their tails go into and he literally skidded across the wooden floor at one point.....hilarious!

They always stop the game first though when the zoomies wear off :D

When cats stop the game first they look at ya then as if you're abusing them and/or are mental :P

Glad I'm not the only one crazy enough to do this :pac: I usually only do it with Peach, she'll stand at a corner or door way and crouch down with massive pupils. Then I'll take a step and she'll do a double take then jump up the wall and do a kick start to run away :D

My little terrier girl has a very impressive array of vocalisations, especially yawns. The yawns range from a cat like meow sound to a bizarre bark-yawn. Just lately, the big boy has been attempting to copy her. I heard a squeak coming from the direction of the sofa earlier...I thought it was her, but it was himself!

He might be. He lost his mammy when he was only a little 4 week old Swanson so he never had anyone to teach him how to be a cat. So he does several non-cat things. And does lots of cat things REALLY badly. When he was very small, he used to try to wash his face with both front paws at once and fall over. :D

Yep, with a bit of peek a boo thrown in for good measure. They love it when I peek at them from behind a door then duck behind it again. Then they just get totally nuts:D

Decided to go through the hamsters treats and actually put them in airtight containers. Anyway all the rattling and crinkling of bags woke him up and he came out of his nest like a DEMON. Then he realised he might get a treat or two out of it and sat on his haunches looking adorable.

He may have been successful. I couldn't possibly say. ;)

My terrier does the same thing but only if I'm being too slow making her food or getting her lead for a walk :D

I was making my own dinner today and Alli came over and sat beside me, farted, wagged her tail then walked off! This isn't a regular occurrence but always makes me laugh how casual she is about it :o
