Sometimes have to manually mount HDD after reboot. Also noticed that.

I get this in Hyperion3 (my own image)

I installed hyperion v4. By my opinion best image of all. But I have one issue with all enigma images. When I scan channels instead of some channel names I see for example 11420H SID 0x1f46. Anyone knows solution? It happens on all satellites and providers.

Yeah I have it pretty much set up at the moment. I just wanted to give it a few days to see if I spot any bugs etc. Also I don't want to forget anything. At the moment there seems to be a couple of bugs with it. The only one I've come across personally though is the menu glitches, saying that it is a very minor glitch. On kerni skin you see a few black lines across the screen. On the sky skin I only spotted it when using the 2nd info bar, some words seems to either disappear or flash. Have the latest tsmedia installed and rte player is still working which I hadn't managed on v3.

Howdy folks im hoping to get some more advice please! My upc is finally disconnected so I now need to sort some cheap broadband, I was hoping to go for mobile broadband off O2 as it's only 17 quid a month but it's only on wifi, how would I set this up to connect to my receiver? Thanks, nigel

As far as I know the boxes in general don't have great support for wifi adapters. Some of them do actually support mobile broadband though, so look into that.
If you have a mifi router you can get a wifi to ethernet bridge on ebay for about 20 euro. I use one of them with no issues.

Cheers for that, I will have a look online and see if any one is selling them in dublin

Not ideal but to tide you over until you have that sorted you could place a laptop beside the amiko and share your internet connection from that via an Ethernet cable. Tested it out before and it worked ok.

Yeah that would be great, is it straight forward enough to do?

Yeah really easy, just go into network settings on your laptop and go to change adapter settings then right click on your wifi connection and click properties in the dropdown menu. Then goto the sharing tab and tick the box to share the connection. Then restart the laptop and restart the network on your amiko and you should be connected.

My epg has just vanished the last few days. Even when I run the Crossepg downloader it seems to hang on parsing summaries, and then comes back with an error.

Im using TTG Hyperion Image. Anyone else have similar problems?

Yeah, what worked for me was in the epg settings unyick 28.2 and leave 28.4 checked, then download.

Hey Champ. I tried that on a AA2+ I'm setting up for a friend but no joy I'm afraid. Still only picking up the one mux.

I included a few different ways to scan - the Transmitter, the separate frequencies and the last option is the whole lot. Which did you try ?

I'd go the other way around to be 100% sure TBH. That's the way it is on my image :)

This TheTechGuys' build. Quite a few on here seem to be running it successfully.

or try ChampionCs' (see post above this one, and his additional work re terrestial channel tuning 2 pages back
    )

Did anyone get my Terrestrial.xml update to work on an AA2+ ? If so, which option did you use to fix it ?

Tried scanning every way but no good, it only picks up one mux or the other, not both. Then i tried the Hyperion posted by Givecredit and this did not work either, seems the bug is in your image. Pity, because i much prefer your Open Ar-p.

After installing .xml did you go into tuner config and set tuner to DVB-T europe? It will not work without doing this.

Yes, still did not work in Open Ar-p, possibly this works in Hyperion

On the default Spark EPG , for a lot of the channels I get 'no info' and only when I click on that particular channel on the EPG does it seem to download or display what's on now, anyone else experience this or know how to resolve this?

Can I assume that means there is no fix to what I'm seeing on spark? I actually have TTGs enigma image installed also, but found it very sluggish and unresponsive , I know that's not everyone's experience obviously but I'd be happy with spark if I could resolve the epg problem, I'm easily pleased really :)

Give up on Spark, it's crap, not worth the time and effort and besides that, you will not get any answers here as we all use Enigma.

It's only sluggish in Enigma because you have to setup a drive for it to store the EPG to stop it storing to internal flash and causing the box to lag.

Enigma 2 take 2 in that case!!! I'm guessing somewhere among these posts someone has explained how you store the E2 EPG externally?

It's in your epg settings the option to save it to your hdd
