put an upside down plate on it...

    does the same job.

I did, except it was a baking tray. ;)
I'd just appreciate if the lovely flatmates of mine for whom I'm cooking and baking (because I want to) just let me know when we run out of stuff or even better - replaced it. Ah well, we're just people... :pac:

Americans calling st patrick's day st patty's day.

Just Americans in general. Watching the news last night on the trouble in Ukraine. Who made the Americans boss? How do they think they can just come in and tell them what to do?

stuck behind some self centered ****ing hamplanet in the aldi queue as she took her precious time packing her groceries at the till, making sure each and every item was secure in its place before moving on to the next

in a just world aldi would hire security guards to drag ***** like that out of the building and deposit them in the way of traffic

Aldi and Lidl are ALWAYS bloody busy :/ they really should have a kiosk for a few items. Also I really hate when you queue up behind three or four people and the guy on the till refuses you because he's closing. 'am its f**king busy, stay where you are.'

You'd wonder is everything their favourite?

Similarly, in a clothes shop, when you go to pay and the shop assistant says,"It's lovely, isn't it?I have one of these at home."
Almost makes me want to change my mind and put it back on the shelf.

Shop local promotions. Went to my local pharmacy this morning and a pack of gauze dressings that cost 3.75 last week cost 4.20 today. Thats the second increase in less than a year bringing the price up by a euro, well I'll be buying them online from now on. I buy a lot of them so over the course of a year it could be up to another 100 euro more than I was paying.

Also, a tube of ear drops for cats/dogs that costs about 8 euro at my vet was priced at 23.45 in the same pharmacy:eek:, I've bought it in that pharmacy in the past for less than a tenner:mad:

'Real changes for the good of real people.' - The average TD.

    What does that mean?
'Haters and fakers can go f**k themselves' - Eamonn Gilmore...allegedly.

When wasters go about in luminus jackets pretending to be busy.

Just because you're wearing your "work clothes" doesn't mean I believe you're "flat out"

In a local place I go to now and again, the waitress will gush..

"You have to try the sticky toffee pudding, it's to die for, really lovely"

Its a ****ing slice of cake that costs seven quid....it's supposed to be fcuking nice, it would be better is she was to say something like "I'd give the pavlova a miss if I was you, its poxy":D

^^I'd read that as her meaning that the sticky toffee pudding is nearing it's sell-by date,so,buy if before it grows a mould!

Random singing of The Fields of Athenry, on any occasion.
So embarrassing. Always makes me cringe and wanna hide.

Posted this last month-am willing our Irish fans to sing anything else today.

    Please?

You're not the only one ;) That's why I do naps very rarely, I don't think they work for me.

I hate the expression 'sucking diesel'. The post rugby commentary is on in the background and one of the commentators used that expression. It is one of THE most cringeworthy, paddywhackery, begosh and begorrah Irish things that makes me physically cringe.

I can guarantee it's been said before, probably even by myself but poor grammar and spelling on the internet reeeeeally annoys me! I don't know why it bothers me so much, maybe i'm slightly OCD but every time i see someone use there, they're or their wrong on Facebook i want to correct them even if i don't know them! A little bit of me actually dies inside when i see how poor the level of basic English is amongst people i know! The way text language with all its abbreviations and distorting of words (dat for that, den for then etc) and how it has come to a point where i fully believe people actually think that's how these words are spelled now leaves me with little hope for intelligence!
