Sorry to pop in here folks as a complete amateur. I have flightradar24 pro on my iPhone and I wondered .... I often hear planes flying over Ranelagh in Dublin but when I open the app, nothing. Often in the middle of night. Often turbo prop I think.
Does the app include all planes ? Does it include military ? private ?

Much easier to show this than to explain. :)

    Hope it answers your question.

There's a flight that originated in Grindsted, Denmark that has just caught my eye circling SNN - did anyone catch what's up with it?
    It's C25B.

Im right at shannon airport, heavy fog here at the moment, might have something to do with it.

Rescue 12 was just tasked to meet it at the edge of the light aircraft apron - is that normal?

a livingston a320 has just flown from Dublin to Shannon, i assume thats a positioning flight for a charter at some stage? seems to me like it could be one of those leased planes thats been sitting in Dublin for last few months.

Aircorps Pilatus PC9M looks like it took off from Baldonnell and turned back close to Shannon.

Flew DUB-SNN for painting into VivaAerobus colours prior to delivery. Flew to DUB on return to lessor a few months back. I believe it had its maintenance done there.

Can anyone hazard a guess what this directional changing might have been about?

that star air plane is a bit strange, took off from shannon, descended into dublin, flew over south dublin and is now at 33,000 feet over the irish sea.

edit : tomk posted the pic of it above.

The aircraft flies from Shannon to Dublin on a daily basis.

Since it is only available by MLAT the aircraft, FR24 loses the aircraft's position on approach to Dublin and when it takes off again the FR24 just basically plots a line from where the flight dropped off the radar and comes back on. Two different flights but it seems like one, and only usually happens with this aircraft in particular at Dublin.

An aircraft was still on the runway I believe.

Waiting to get called in for drive training. Should be some time next week. The actual job isn't starting till April. Really looking forward to it.
