if you can adjust your dish put it on that channel and nudge the dish around to get it stronger if you have the 11.411 transponder ok the rest will be fine

Has the Discovery Channel gone from 10796 v 27500? It's been missing for me for a few days now, other channels on that transponder working fine.

Or have I been victim to a bit of movement during the storms?

The other channels appear to be working on the same trransponder, picture looks fine, signal quality according to receiver may be a bit lower than it used to be but I can't say that for certain.

It is, just can't understand why there's no signal for the Discovery Channel while there are for the other channels on that transponder.

Settings appear to be correct from what I can tell, that is, the same as the other channels on that transponder

Have you tried a manual re-download of the channels on that transponder?

Yeah, twice, the 2 discovery channels appear but neither has any signal. I can get the channel on a different transponder but it's in Polish only, no original language option.

Is it possible the dish moved slightly in the storms and the discovery channel is the weakest signal on that transponder?

You either get a transponder or you don't:- LNB settings affect all channels on the transponder; signal levels affect all channels on the transponder.

Try deleting all the channels on that transponder and go again.

Also what is the SID for the Discovery Channels you have?

My Discovery with the english is not clearing is showing as scrambled

might be worth contacting Raphael as that was one one of the best channels available , the other discovery's seem fine

ask him why it was removed from the cards and has anything replaced it?

You may be right though and he's misunderstanding a scrambled message - some receivers do say "scrambled or no signal".

Yeah it's definitely not scrambled, it's on 0% signal quality as far as I can make out. I got onto Rafael and he's doing some checks for me before I call someone to look at the dish.

"Raphael" can't do anything for you either if you've no signal

And if you are getting the other channels on the transponder it's not a dish-alignment issue it's a receiver issue.

Have you tried this?

Try deleting all the channels on that transponder and go again.

Check the SID against a satellite listings site.

I think the one you are looking for is gone. Could be wrong, but my box got an updated list of channels and the language is gone...
