Bizarre move by Waters alright, he's really going for the anti-gay martyr title? Who knows.

    Waters is a clown.
Can't understand how he gets to write for The Irish Times.

Boo hoo I want to speak Irish and the state is not doing enough. Get over it. It's a bloody dead language

Brendan probably reckons its a sign of sophistication not to know Irish.

What did the audience member shout out?

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,749 ✭✭✭✭grey_so_what

And the canteen is clapping because they are terrified of herself in case she is taping the show....

I could be wrong, but TG4 never has programmes for Irish learners. Or news programmes where they speak irish, but slower.

They've no real interest in spreading the language, just maintaining the status quo.

If it wasn't for the support of state, English would be her first language.

He seems to love viewing himself as a heroic failure, so I presume he'll be quite happy if he loses both his job and a potential defamation case.
