    People who say ''Tay-Ho crips''

People who eat Tay-Ho crips. King all the way.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 27,833 ✭✭✭✭ThisRegard

I used to be a King man all the way, but they lost their way a long time ago, I've bought some truly manky packets with only a few edible crisps in them. So if I can't get my hands on some Hunky Dorys it's now Tayto ahead of King.

Grew up on Tayto (in fact in Cork at that time we never referred to crisps just a 'bag of Tayto'). Would opt for king now though given a choice although not really fussy (once they are cheese and onion and never walkers :))

Who the fcuk gave Robbie Savage a job as a pundit. He is absolute dire. Anyway he has commented on BBC

"If Manchester City win the tie in the Nou Camp, I will stop working."

Highly unlikely, but come on the citizens!

Rave: There's free wifi in Santry Sports Surgery Clinic. :)

    Rant: Boards.ie is banned!

.....Surgeons must have been too busy posting instead of operating so they took away their privileges.

Too much medical advice on Boards for the Clinic's liking...pushing them out of business!!

This really pisses me off. I was out for a run at lunch yesterday. Did 5 miles or so, on the way back towards the office I'm running through the park opposite and there's these 2 "collegues" out for lunchtime stroll.

"Hope you ran at least 30 miles". I'm like "F**K you, you couldn't walk 20 mins and I'm taking abuse from you ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,610 ✭✭✭yaboya1

Cyclists on the footpath (especially the one's who wait expectantly for you to move out of their way!).

People in estates ranting at you for parking your car when you are doing a short run - might be there for max 1 hour. Its a public road FFS, I'll park there if I want and that doesn't entitle you to scream abuse at people and tare off in your car putting other road users in danger. Go get a life that you think your bit of tarmac is so f*cking prescious

I always find it amusing that its often the most unfit people that come out with the idiotic smart remarks such as the above....or the very inventive "run Forrest, run"

Certain cyclists (not all cyclists, mind you) who, when cycling towards you with a massive tail wind behind them, have this smug look about them thinking they are the next Contador, Wiggins, Froome ( take yer pick). Lads, you're fooling nobody, we know the wind is doing all the work.

At least when I'm running with the wind I have the good grace to look fceked.

I really should have posted in the rave forum instead, but there's enough raving over on my log:)

I do enjoy reading the rants even though I'm not a natural ranter

Large cars with flat batteries, parked behind the working car, on a drive way that's on a slope. It's one way to wake and get warmed up on a morning, that's my resistance work done for the week.

Chesty cough - second time in 2 months. Making sh1t of my marathon training. God I don't want to end up running the marathon aiming for a similar time to the last time. Too much work for that!!! Grrr and irritated.

The word "physicality". Thought it was just the GAA that went out with that rubbish term but seems its a favourite with the rugger buggers too.

The word physicality no longer exists. It is now always "greatphyisicality"

Abject is a word, a very descriptive word.

5th is ****e, rather be 8th and avoid the Europa league next year.

Rant: Spending 120 million euro and getting a bag of ****e in return. :D

Another rant: People who call Daniel Levy "Intelligent":D

Final Rant: Jordan Hasay/ Alberto Salazar. There is no crying in athletics. Woman the **** up and give your WC place to the runner who earned it.
