What's BF4 on the PS4 vs the PC like? I thought BF3 looked and played terribly on the PS3, but obviously that was down to hardware constraints.

Can't link the article behind work firewall but Digital Foundry analysis compared PS4 versions quite favourably to PC. Almost but not quite essentially.

I didnt like BF3 on ps3. Battlefield 4 on PS4 is a different animal altogether. My brother is a massive cod fan but said the latest version on PS4 is ****e. But he loves Battlefield and he wasn't a fan before now.

If you are used to playing on a console go with the PS4 version for sure. I have both but use my PS4 controller on the PC, extra FPS and smoother sexier gameplay

So after a long delay by SONY replacing my broken PS4 they are now sending me a Killzone Bundle as a goodwill gesture! I demanded componsation for having to sit with the Mrs and watch her "shows" with her!

For others the manager confirmed ti me that it is a 7 working day period from when they recieve a broken console to delieveing a new one in.

There would be only a small difference if any, basic optimizations made via driver updates a PC would get and a console would not, minor things. The PS4 and Xbox one are x86 architecture machines, glorified PC's themselves, the whole point of this was to make the PC and console game development to a small different and could be worked on all the same time without much need of change but m$ did make it a little harder with it's esRAM which made developers have to change it's game and as many have stated made the first few months of development hell, but as Sony said, a console for developers by developers was the focus of the PS4 and it's game catalogue will have a lot of PC ports and faster development.

It is not gonna be the new Skyrim or Witcher, but Bound by Flame is gonna be the first next gen RPG when it is released in April on the PS4, it is also gonna be on the PS3, it seems like a mix between Kingdoms of Amalur and Fable judging by the video.

Who is a left 4 dead fan?

Creators of Left 4 dead have a PS4/PC/Xbox shooter with a twist coming this year called Evolve.

4 player co-op versus 1 monster (monster is also a player) so 4 v 1 gameplay.

I like the concept of this, check it out below.

The exact gameplay mode was in L4D so it's not a twist, it's just copy and paste.

Daylight has been dated for an April release, it is meant to put Outlast to shame and changes every time you play it, so the scares are always new.

Does anyone know how to change the nat type to 'open' on a ps4 connected to a UPC horizon box?

I can access the UPC web app with the router settings but know nothing about opening ports or how to go about it.

Yes. They have said that they'll include it in a future firmware update.

I think they'll keep forgetting to add stuff in updates. Maybe if there was a huge kick up about it.

Forgetting isn't a thing.

Like any software vendor, or development company, or just about anyone who provides software or firmware updates, they have a release schedule.

Priorities on that schedule obviously shift during the course of the schedule, prioritising bug fixes, slick new features being added to the schedule and the likes.

I'd assume it's on the schedule, but whilst they have Music Unlimited, and movie services, I'd imagine they want to maybe funnel people into those paid services, before allowing users to connect to their networked PC's and storage devices, which is obviously to enable users to view their freely acquired pirated material.

It makes business sense, and I don't see it coming anytime soon.

Its pretty easy to do..
Do you have a dedicated Ip assigned to your PS4?

I use plex on my ps4 with no problems. Register on your pc and log in through your ps4 browser.

Just noticed Zen Pinball in the store for "free"...well you do have to buy the actual tables :rolleyes:

Best 3D I have seen on a game yet but unfortunately the input lag made it unplayable for me when I switched to 3D.

That was 1.6, the change log is for both. It's just stability and probably a fix for that friends list problem.

yeah it mentioned one specific headset compatibility update for 1.61 but just skipped past it..

outof curiousity...which headset are people using or recommending?
