heavy rain has started here in Clare, was hoping to put a few straps on a hayshed this morning thats on its last legs but gave up on it quickly..hopefully it will pull thru but it will need a major facelift either way

Never do anything today that you can put off until tomorrow

Strangely enough just as I was putting on my wellingtons it dried completely and I got there and back without a drop of rain

Was thumping off the roof before hand.

Did ya ever check out if ya were related to St Bridget? It's a small county you're in and she came from not that far from ya?
I dunno was she any good to milk cows though, but she got a right bit of land in Kildare :-)

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Strange day, before say 8.50am it was like the proverbial flood. Then it dried and turned into a most beautiful day. Earlier on it started getting wet again and we've had heavy showers, sleet, hail, thunder & lightning and a very brief power interruption since. Beginning of the storm is here I reckon.

yea winds are kicking up at home im told and upto 130km winds forcast for tomorrow
