Shining out here in the last half hour. Fairly windy all day, with nasty showers of rain, hail and a good amount of sleet. There'll be some white hills in the morning if this keeps up. Angry looking sea but we've another week and a bit before the highest tide yet.

We had a day like that last saturday and I swear there was more water on the pitch from kids cryin with the cold then the rain. Was under 7's so maybe I am being too harsh

That was deff oak park. Car on the way home 3 deg, lads got home and poured water out of the football boots. Make them hardy:

Why is it that the wind always calms down at night when no work can be easily done

Stinker of a morning. Forecast doesn't look great for the week. Urea will be staying in its wrapper for another few days

We may have missed the boat for urea. I always find if its not spread early Jan when its mild as the month drags on the weather tends to get hardier

Droughts, floods, wildfires, want to be nuts to farm in a lot of Oz. Distant relation is a priest there and even back in the 80's used to joke that the sheep with the motorbike was the one that survived, because she'd get to the one blade of grass growing before the others. Tales of Arctic truck water tankers and a permanent fodder crisis like nothing we've ever seen.

Dry, sun, windy, snow, hail, gale force wind and that's just the last 10 mins

Brr, cold out, windy, a fierce shower of hail earlier. A day to be inside pondering life, the universe, and everything.
