Windy and wet all day here. Some sleet, one final bit of winter before the spring arrives.

Sheep at home were doing the same, lined up behind a length of exposed bedrock or walls. It's been a rough few weeks, hopefully the end (of the bad weather) is nigh  :D

February has often been the worst month of the winter.

February has often been the worst month of the winter.

In a meteorological viewpoint, December, january, and February are the winter months. It looks like this stormy weather will continue into next weekend by the long range forecast. It been extremely wild, wet, & cold here yesterday and all last night.

Will be happy to see the back of this day, could only do the bare minimum. The great Western drainage project is on indefinite hold!

Dry for now, cloudy odd spit of rain.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

It's stopped raining and the wind has settled down. Sun was out earlier, cloudy now but I see bits of blue sky showing through. A vast improvement compared to the last few days.
