Went on a Southside meander today and found different prices in 3 different Tesco for the same items, DVD called Prime something in Dundrum €2, Nutgrove €1, Stillorgan 30c!

Loads of games and DVD's in Stillorgan, Nutgrove & Dundrum.
Prices in Dundrum were much higher for DVD's, most around €5 or €7 each.

Stillorgan had 3 crates full of films & Games, walking out of the door at €2 and €1.
Not much else there apart from Apple chargers down from €20 to €5.

Nutgrove had a load of headphones for €20, Philips charges all €10 with 4 AA batteries.
Hi, these weren't apple iPhone chargers by any chance?!
    Thanks

I was in Tesco Ardkeen on my visit to Waterford today and it was crap...checked all round the shop because the "bargain" bins at the front were full of kindle cases and printer cartridges and not much else.

Good drive but don't use it for anything overly important as wd drives have a bad habit of going bang.

At 50 quid though can't go far wrong

Found 2 price checkers 1 around the home ware area and another about halfway down the center isle on left i think it was the biscuit isle

Thats a pretty pointless and unscientific study, comparing the life of desktop hardrives to notebook harddrives that live in a hot plastic box alongside a cpu, gpu, switching supplies etc and get regularly dropped, banged battered and vibrated around the place. And the market share figures what a laugh the vast majority of electronics in russia is grey imported so there are no figures.

    Thanks

    They were.
I went in and asked the sales assistant as I couldn't find them on the shelves.
She said they were all bought by 1 guy and they were Apple products reduced from 20 to 5.

Thats more like it, except I don't understand how you can have 120% failure rate. Wasn't defending seagate by the way I think they're crap especially their desktop usb drives with the vents in the bottom. I was defending toshiba/fujitsu notebook drives as it was a totally unfair comparison.

Yeah that 120% bit was bizarre, I assume it's a typo of 20%? and don't worry, I wasn't having a go - though my phrasing was poor - I just happened to read that article a couple of days ago and thought it was more than fitting.

just left Tesco Nenagh and there was about 7 ipod touchs 8gb there @ €50

Is it the 16g for €50 or the 8g for €25 that they have?

Either way, I would be forever grateful if any boardsie in Nenagh would pick me up one and I will paypal you the money and postage. Provided they're not all pink/lavender! Looking for a 'masculine' colour!!

It was the white (a very masculine white at that!) ipod touch not the nano that was in Nenagh. There was the only 8gb ones on sale and am nearly certain they are the 4th generation version. Am sorry I was only passing through and got lucky. Hopefully someone else might be able to pick you up one.

Has anyone tried the knives on the current promotion? Are they a a Bargain? Look a fair bit over priced at RRP.
