    I've just done the same.

TBH they layout and subsections are attractive.

    Same here.
I don't think boards would look too kindly upon advertising another forum on here though :P

TBH I like the sorter seats. I'll see how my back goes with them but initial impressions are good. I do love leather however it's cold in winter and burns my backside in the summer :o

very nice car, well wear ! :)

in other news, as you can tell from my sig im trying to find a nice discovery hse model... been looking online constantly and most of the ones in this country are very basic, missing features or are over 20K for 07 - 08 with more extras,

been looking at UK sites and the 07 high spec hse models go for about 9,500 - 11K in perfect condition ..... Vrt of about 3K and tax at about 1,400 + currency conversion is off putting about that ...

    thoughts ?

TBH I'm happy with the standard interior although I might consider leather if my back disagrees with my initial impression.

    Looks like it..

    Good one. :D

I shudder a little time every time I see that 1 Series ad, where it says something like 'applies to 114d/i' in the small print at the bottom. I'm definitely no fanboi but that's not BMW is supposed to be about.

OMG, please say it's not true that you've bought a 159. There aren't enough of them and with your luck it'll be dead by Easter!!! Just joking, I've only had one as a rental but I thought it was lovely. Hope it lasts forever. Will you become 159Man?

Just thinking ahead to buying a small car in the summer and currently thinking about a Modus, Panda, Fiesta etc. Anywhoo I'll waffle closer to the date about why I'll be getting a small car but I had been wondering, what's the most comfortable/luxurious small car you could get for around €2k- electric windows, mirrors, air con, sunroof etc. The modus seems well spec'd for what they are.

    Didn't you recently buy a 320d kintaro ?

Problems or just after a change ?

Might get a private sell early Mini Cooper for that kind of money.

My colleagues will love you. Thus far they haven't been thrilled about my possible purchases: StreetKa (c'mon it's cool), SportKa, Modus and the Panda. They've all been accused of being more than a little 'girly'! I'll add the mini to the list now :)

The 320 was for the missus who needs it for work. I'm only taking lessons for the licence now and hope to pass the test around June. I'll only need a run around to get to the train station on the odd bad day and eh at the ripe old age of 36 I'll do my dues in something small at first.

Yeah I was planning on importing it.
Would have cost perhaps €2k to ship here and then unknown VRT+Vat.
I test drove one in meath a while back and fell in love.

I'd say something like that could be huge fun but my god driving it on anything but a motorway here would be nerve wracking wouldn't it?

A lot of people calling for an end to this thread.

Would be interesting to boycott posting in here for area days and making a dedicated thread for each topic on here and seeing how that works out for the neighsayers. A lot of whom have conveniently forgotten the helpful info they have gotten in this very thread.

Pop pop bang etc rabble rabble motor tax rabble

TBH the whole argument about it is becoming divisive and tiresome.

I wouldn't do anything to upset anyone at the minute. It'll work itself out naturally.

I thought I was seeing things on the advert the other day for one. It's pretty bad. I can't understand how that design got the go ahead.
