I had thought they were limited to the UK alright but yep, I am getting ahead of myself a little. Realistically I'll have to limit myself to a 1 litre or there abouts. I know it's probably not a wise idea but I find myself strangely drawn to the Modus or a 2004 Clio for some strange reason and against all logic.

Nothing wrong with a Clio Dynamique of that vintage. A Modus is rotten however. I'd still say a Fester 1.25 however. I've experience of both Clio and Feista and I'd choose the Fiesta but the Clio is an excellent car.

Really are they that bad? I know Renault's larger cars are to be avoided at all costs but I had thought their small cars were generally quite good. Regardless I do like the Fiesta (well not the look of the current generation) and will certainly seek advice down the line on that and other possibilities. I can't feckin wait.

Go onto the UK forums - mazda6forums.co.uk is a good one. Should be something hidden somewhere in here:

I don't believe they are bad but I can ask and find out from someone I trust regarding Renaults. They are basically a Clio but they look fugly.

Hehe ah no rush yet, there's plenty of time. Granted they aren't a great looking car but to ease me in I think I want somewhere comfy and it looks like a comfy place to be.

Cold out tonight. If anyone's driving watch the roads, got a little slip on a back road earlier and the cars totally iced over only 45 minutes after being parked up.

Where bouts are ya on about MuppetCheck. I was out about 30 mins ago, foot to the floor on the back roads in Mayo.

There's some muppet trying to spin the car in the middle of the road outside my house. This particular part of the road. It's a common occurrence, we pass no remarks

Why am I telling you all this? Well, it sounds and looks like they lost control and lamped it into the ditch :pac:

    Talk about deja vu :pac:

Some people just don't have it......:p

Quick question here...I've a feeling I know but would a DSG be considered as manual or automatic... say for the purposes of a driving test.

Automatic I'd say, as there's no clutch.

Ha I know the feeling, I've saved up expecting this turbo to go but it's still firing away just fine!
6 months and 25000 miles later. No loss of power or smoke etc. .
Everyone that heard it at the start said turbo going out l but they're confused now after all of this.
Yet I can't touch the money because I know what will happen tomorrow if I do
