    Ambidextrous, eh? Sounds intriguing... ;)

It's bizarre! The only explanation I can think of was one of my first crushes back in the dawn of teenage time was a left-handed guitar player. Must have imprinted on me like I'm some kind of baby duckling :D

Musicians though, I think everyone can agree they're sexy!

Mine goes back to my teens too but I really don't know why. I don't remember having a crush on any particular left handed fella I just remember finding it kind of sexy. Guess I'm just weird

My dad is a musician, I grew up surrounded by musicians and I like them. But I don't think I have the obsession like some women do. Thanks to my upbringing. They can be very sexy or not. No matter if they're (bass) guitarists, drummers, singers... Except sax players, they're a special kind...

To cut a long story short, perhaps the catholic guilt of the left hand being the hand of the devil is a remnant of that?

I was brought up in a non religious environment. No guilt here :p

Hmmm, some people think sexuality explores the taboo. Which explains the teen, pigtail, thing in pornography and the, er, 'extreme' nature of some erotica. It's rather interesting that many countries that have massive amounts of stigma against gay people have massive amounts of man on man porn being viewed.

To cut a long story short, perhaps the catholic guilt of the left hand being the hand of the devil is a remnant of that?

Ah I doubt it. Very little Catholic guilt with me, even though I was brought up Catholic. I'm very happy with my sexuality :P

I think the first thing you see and get turned on by lingers. Which probably explains the school uniform thing. That feeling when you're a teenager that you've never felt before is very powerful. Most people get over that and their sexuality matures, but some don't.

Sounds silly, but how can you tell?

I read up on it a bit. The majority of ambidextrous people are the one who were originally lefties and were taught to write with their right hand. But still prefer to use their left for other acts.

On a serious note, are you naturally ambidextrous? Because that is quite rare.

I have an almost imperceptible scar on my forehead where I got hit with a golf club. I mean uhh... fought a lion with my bare hands.

Yeah, naturally ambidextrous. Although I use both hands for different tasks, I'll usually use the same one for a given task all the time. For example, I always play right handed guitar, but always write with my left, and so on.

Hmmm, that could be true. A lot of women seem to be reading Twilight to recapture that youthful thing.

But I still think there's a bit of a taboo involved. Eh, the left handed thing was probably pushing it though. :P But it could stand for the nun/priest/interasial/BDSM realm of pornography. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Japan one of the most searched for phrases in china?

When I was younger it creeped me out that middle aged men were watching actresses dressed in school uniforms, but I wonder is that actually a healthy facet of sexuality.

Meh, the teen thing isn't my cup of tea, but I try to keep my philosophy about sexuality as the phrase: People are ****in' weird.

    EDIT:

That's very interesting! There's a musician that pops into my mind, her name is Sarah Blackwood and she plays guitar either way. Thought that was quite cool too. I tried to play with my left once and it was very awkward.

I reckon I could play with my left, but it would take a bit of practice. All the muscle memory I've built up for it is with my right at this stage. I've had a go on a few left handed guitars in music shops and I was able to play, but only like a beginner! Left handed strumming was fine, I just didn't have to muscle memory to make quick chord changes.

I knew a guy when I was younger who was a leftie, but played a right handed guitar strung correctly upside down....

Makes absolutely no sense to me at all, and as far as I can remember he wasn't very good :pac:

I once met someone who did this too, although he was fairly good. I think he said it was because they had a right handed guitar in the house when he was growing up. It was all he had, so he went for it. Have to say, he won my respect.

I'd imagine so alright. I can't fathom trying to play an upside down C#add9 :pac:

Yeah, I actually don't know how he did it! Surely it would be easier just to learn to play with your weaker hand? Mad stuff altogether.

    Always had a suspicion, but recently confirmed;

    Turn off:

Anyone who feels the need to update their Facebook status on a regular basis, coupled with millions of exclamation marks, the word/term (hehehe), and 9 times out of 10, the post is something utterly mundane, unfunny, and cringe worthy.

It probably annoys me more than it should, but that's a deal breaker.

    Turn on:

I'm an absolute sucker for intelligent women. I don't particularly mean book smart, either. Although often they go hand in hand, for some reason more so with women than males I feel, but that's a different matter. Just someone who thinks deep about issues, will call me on my bull****, and will have more to say than, "Did you see X-Factor or Corrie last night?".

Edit: ****, I may need to edit this post properly when I've time to stop me sounding like a dick :( Hopefully ye know what I mean!

I can't stand people messaging me 'hehehe' as a reply to almost everything! Wth, you tried to spark a conversation so make an effort I've no patience for this nonsense. Wasters.
I've no idea what Corry is but I get your point when it comes to X-factor. Thankfully my friends, who watch it don't bother me with it and I as a repay don't make fun of them (I wouldn't anyway). Each to their own.

That was me abbreviating Coronation street like a plank, really. I've it edited to the more recognised, "Corrie".

Its not that I would mind an OH watching these shows, or whatever, just that I don't particularly want to talk about them, so if that's all you have when it comes to social conversation, its not going to work.

Similarly, if I bored the pants off them by talking about Liverpool or American Football all the time, and had nothing else to offer, I'd be thrown to the curb rather sharpish, I'd imagine. Rightly so, too.
