    any suggestions lads?
I'm happy enough with the team overall but would like to hear what others think. I am inside the top 4k at the moment .

I'd get rid of Cabaye and Sterling for Ramsey and Mutch.

    Nice team with Sturridge though.

Sterling probably won't get as much gametime from now on so I would avoid him. Eriksen and Lallana by quite a distance.

When Sturridge came on against Stoke, it was for Coutinho, not Sterling. On form, Sterling probably deserves his place ahead of Coutinho, but then Coutinho has always played much better with Sturridge ahead of him.

Hard to know what way the chips will fall, but wouldn't be surprised to see Sterling keep his place.

Not too sure about Mutch with Ole taking over and bringing some of his Molde lads with him. Noone would be a safer purchase as Ole has been talking up Noone as the type of attacking winger that suits his system.

Any thoughts on this mid wildcard team?

    Mannone
    Kolorov, Coleman, Koscielny
    Hazard, Gerrard, Ozil, Lallana
    Adebayor, Aguero, Suarez

    Speroni, Vlaar, Chester, Januzaj

Mannone could be a redundant choice by the end of the transfer window

Man united are apparently showing some interest in Mannone as a backup to De Gea as Lindegard will be moving on to new pastures, not forgetting that Poyet is still trying to sign Andújar.

I wouldn't touch Mannone at the moment with all the uncertainty.

    Jelavic has signed for Hull.

McGeady has taken his number 7 shirt at Everton (if that means anything, which it probably doesn't).

Less of that chat till he gets another price rise so I can sell him at a profit in my WC!! :)

So going to play my wildcard this week I think and I'm looking at the following:

    Szczesny - McGregor
    Mertesacker - Vlaar - Coleman - Terry - Fonte
Yaya Toure - Ramsey - Shelvy - Hazard - Livermore
    Suarez - Aguero - Rodriquez

    What do people think?

Two things worrying me, Ramsey and Yaya's fitness. What's the prognosis on them, anyone know?

Very similar to my own team after the wc. Have the same back 4 playing every week and will have 5 of your front 8. Might drop Ramsey to wilshire for this weekend if he isn't going to start.
Going with the following myself :

    Szczesny - McGregor
    Mertesacker - Coleman - Terry - Chester - gabbidon
Yaya Toure - Ramsey - lallana - Hazard - cabaye
    Suarez - Aguero - sturridge

    Azpil Chester Sagna Gabbidon Vlaar

    Ozil Barry Hazard Fletcher Januzaj

    Saurez Aguero Rodriguez

    Any advice please

Your midfield is terrible. If you don't have the cash, downgrade ozil to someone about 7 or 8m and upgrade Fletcher and Barry. your defence isn't up to much either. Maybe consider some of the names mentioned on this thread instead of trying to pick players you can afford but offer little chance of points returns.

Cheers. It's the best that I can find at the moment. Wanted to keep Rooney instead of sturridge but uncertainty over fitness and playing position made the decision for me. Can just downgrade lallana or cabaye in a few weeks if I needed to swap anyway. Not interested in any other utd cover. Not sure about arsenal attacking cover either but will live with Ramsey or wilshire for now.

    I quite like this :)
    1. If Arsenal get a new striker, Sturridge will be swapped out for them.
    2. I'd like to keep Dawson if I could. I have faith in Tottenham to start keeping CS again. Not sure how I'd do it though.
    3. No keeper rotation.

F**k me, how much is your team worth machiavellianme, £115m?

What not just downgrade Fabianski to Kelvin Davis and save 0.3m. You're not going to drop Szcz anyway

Adrian is not guaranteed to play so I'd move him on for someone more certain to play. , Gazzaniga is 3rd choice so he needs to go .Barry & Fletcher are terrible choices get them out now.

I could do that. I suppose the extra 0.3 could be better invested elsewhere.

I was just thinking that if Szczesny was given a rest for a game then it would be handy to have his backup.

But if Ches is injured then Fabianski will play.

We have agreed a fee with @WBAFCofficial for Shane Long, and will now enter talks with the striker over personal terms #UTT

Jelavic AND Long? Hull becoming quite the team...

I think you need to learn the spelling of players names! Looks good though wish I had as much money to spend as you my wc team is embarrassingly low budget.

Just under 116m after playing the WC.
Lost a few 0.1s on Negredo, Sterling and Ozil but the plan was to get Aguero in when fit.
Still stuck at 56k overall but I'm hoping that having most of the dream team means I can push on for the second half of the season.

Thats unreal! What rank do you have? A full £10m more than me makes me feel pretty sick you could have my squad and still be able to afford Ozil as a 16th player!!

    Team for now

    Mc Gregor-Davis

    Sagna-Kos-Coleman-Olsonn-Brown

    Cabaye-Lallana-Hazard-Eriksen-Silva

    Aguero-Suarez-Lukaku

Will look at changing Arsenal double defence in a few weeks.. Looking at Olsonn closely, anxious to sell if his performance continues.

Have Cabaye earmarked to get the boot for Ramsey, but am happy to have him in my team and see how he performs over the weekend.

I hope Ramsey's price won't be pushed up like Aguero's without any outlay in points.

The Arsenal striker situation will be on a lot of people's minds, as will a new defensive cover, although Gibbs while fit, will retain his place, there should be a new defender brought in during the transfer window due to Monreal's injury.
I think the affect McGeady will have on Everton will be interesting, talk that he could push Mirallas up.

I've heard that mentioned elsewhere, Mirallas will be hanging around the advertising hoardings.
I really cannot see what Martinez reasoning is with McGeady but I would be shocked if it's a success, how does he fit in. I've been to a few Ireland games in the last few years and McGeady has never failed to disappoint. His final ball can be dreadful and he's far too lightweight for premier league football(my opinion of course)
