Here's what Ulrik Nylund, number two in the FFS hall of fame, came up with in his:

He went for Silva over Yaya as I would and went with Lallana from Cabaye/Lallana/Eriksen with Ade up top.

interesting I went with the same front 7 as him and good to see he went with the same boruc/davis combo aswell.

Half thinking of WC this week...for Chelsea defence cover. Taking account if affordability and good chance of playing pretty much every week is Cahill a good shout?
views appreciated...I think that when Cole is back in form,Azpilicuetas games will dry up.

Not yet activated as planed, none of my players are near a fall, and none of my target players are near a rise, although expwct this change sooner rather than later. Although hopfully will have a little more to play with with already one of my players heading for a rise and more to follow.

I don't thing there's any need for me to wildcard until next week but I'm worried I'll be priced out of some players if I hold off any longer.

    My current squad:

    Mmmmmmm.

Half tempted to leave it another week, as looking at the FPL site, neither Aguero or Ramsey due back till 18. Need to keep an eye or other target price changes, if nothing changing, it could simply be Adebayor in for either Lukulu or Negredo this week, tomorrows match could bear a major influence.

Thinking the same. Adebayor in for Rooney for a week or two, then wildcard. The potential price rises are making me really nervous though.

Been alot of changes in the last hour as well. WC could well be acivated yet. Have a new target as well, Terry heading for a rise although no further profit for my self, but still tempted to get rid for Mertesacker, also rising, but not as quick as Terry.

Are people who went with Marshall regretting it now? I'm certainly reassessing the Mannone/Marshall combo.

If Marshall can't keep a clean sheet home to West Ham, there's not much hope IMO.

No. It was just one game. I might change it later if he doesn't pick it up but that money I'm saving with the hope that combo brings is very valuable in the rest of the team. I've been banking on Mignolet for plenty more money for alot of the season and getting just about as much joy. Howard is the only other option I'd consider but that is 1.2 million I don't want to take out of my front 7.

I am considering getting Boruc with a 3.9 dud. Southampton have a good run of fixtures coming up, they have there best back 5 available for the first time in 8 gw's and it leaves an extra .5 more than the Marshall/Mannone combo to invest elsewhere. Am I mad?

I'm going to have a look at Boruc and Mannone. They don't rotate home/away at all but even if I could just get decent fixtures between them for the rest of the year.

A 2-0 loss home to West Ham is not a good start to Ole's Cardiff career.

Boruc/Manone is the combo i'm looking at too. Southamptons fixtures are improving and i don't expect Cardiff to be as defensive under Ole.

Getting very tempted to play this now, although the next day or two will still decide things, currently considering going

    from

    Krul
    Jääskeläinen

    --Turner--Gabbidon--Davies--Coleman--Terry--

    Yaya Touré--Lallana--Hazard--Sterling--Cabaye

    Negredo----Suárez----Lukaku

    to

    Krul
    Mannone

    --Turner--Gabbidon--Chester--Coleman--Mertesacker--

    ---Yaya Touré--Ramsey--Hazard--Sterling--Lallana---

    Agüero----Suárez----Adebayor----

With Januzaj also to take a midfeild place for a yet unknown player, currently leaning towards Sterling, although .3 mil short for that.

    Thoughts or suggestions please appreciated.

    This.

Also as highlighted by my praising post of this combo (I again advertise myself :D => http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=88362551&postcount=410) Marshall was ever gonna be the weak point of the combo. Slightly tougher fixtures, not the same recent form nor the equivalently good CS history. Sunderland is also in a much more positive dynamics than Cardiff. But it was just the combination which was presenting such an impressive potential.

You're right and let's be honest. It's a catastrophic start and quite some blow. I was counting on this CS (considering WH away form).

I think FFS special WC article about the keepers had stated another good cheap pairing with Mannone. I'll search for it. No panic though. It's now up to Sunderland to make something out of their next 2 home games.

The Boruc/Davis option is my current favourite. After Arsenal Southampton have a pretty good run home and away, and it frees up a good bit of cash at 8.6m. Probably the best option to get Saints defensive cover, and could allow a third big defender.

Okay instant advice needed here because of price rises/falls. Should I do a Ramsey Ozil Szczesny pairing or Koscielny Ramsey Szczesny ? I Have Ozil kos and Szczesny already, advice???

Double Arsenal defence looks a very good option for the forseeable.

I'd keep what you have for a while if it was me. Ozil and Kos rising tonight, Ramsey may well drop soon.

My main advice however would be to use this code 1588629-685711 to join the FSA Ranking League and take your position at the top of the table!! :D

Okay the thing is I'm doing the wildcard so to get Eriksen (rising) for Whittingham (City,United next two) I have to take out Ozil and put in Ramsey. What do these alterations look like? (Harper to mannone already done)

I think I'm gonna WC next week.

My latest plan for world domination is to possibly get Aguero in this week for Cardiff, then WC next week, when we will have lineups before the GW deadline and possibly swap him out again for a punt on RVP also home to Cardiff. Possibly do a few other punts on confirmed starters such as Chelsea defence v West Ham, or maybe even Torres, and then have the sums done to get Aguero back before they play Norwich.

Still likely to have a go at the Suarez, RVP, Aguero experiment too for a while at least. 2 FTs to drop RVP and upgrade a cheap mid to Ozil reverse it, having compared my likely RVP and non RVP teams.

Its good, for some reason though with your total score I was expecting you to have team value with the likes of which you'd be able to blow the world away with your wildcard.

My only advice would be that you may have posted in the wrong thread :)
Could you leave the keeper change and just do 2 transfers this week instead?
Wildcard may be better used later on in the month for you.

Tends to be the problem with people who buy early, that when you go to sell you sometimes lose out/on huge gains. Have a value of 111m, but for me its total score- not team value- that is important

Of course, just as you said, doesn't always work well at wildcard teams, although quite often you mightn't need it to if the same players do the business in the 2nd half of the year.

Just pulled the trigger there, will put my team up tonorrow, have enough in bank for Kun whenever he returns but for next week taking fixtures into account have gone for Giroud in his place.

I have three big defenders anyway - Mert, Coleman and Terry.

The only mid I have that I'd probably change is Cabaye.

Then I just need to get Aguero in for Rooney.

I reckon I'll see if I can afford Boruc/Mannone and have a look at their fixtures later.
