Yes. After many, many draft teams I've decided that the Silva will be my City man in midfield.
I decided not to have two City mids and to have one from Arsenal, City and Chelsea plus a medium priced mid(Lallana) and an extremely cheap one(Colback).
Yaya is pretty much every team atm, I think that Silva and Ozil could both outscore Yaya for the remainder of the year. Both are differentials atm, Silva in particular.

Yaya Toure had ACON the last 2 years which was a factor in his form dropping in the 2nd half of the season each time. My money is on him being the highest scoring midfielder this season

Exactly what I wanted to hear/read. And if some other people have the same feeling (Chelsea fans or not) I'd greatly appreciate a notice ;).

Is Ivanovic not injured at the moment, came off aginst Liverpool? Azpill to right back and Cole to left I would have suspected? Was looking at getting cole in myself....seems to be racking up the points any time he plays.

    I have Cabaye and Rooney
What are the chances of either or both of these playing? If there is no chance of either getting a game I'll need to WC

Baines a doubt. Wonderful news again.

I just LOVE injuries to all my key players!

Can't see United not playing Rooney given how they're playing. He'll have 10 days rest by the Swansea game.

Think I'll be playing my 2 free transfers tonight. It'll be the global Walcott -> Ozil. Out of Cabaye and Rooney, I think I'll be taking Cabaye out, which leaves me 6.3m to spend on a mid to perform over the next 2 GWs before I play my WC.

At the minute I'm thinking of going with Barkely. He will essentially be my 4th mid, but Sterling will likely start one or both GWs depending, so not huge pressure on me to get this decision right.

Looking for some opinions - I've made a couple of transfers but to facilitate them, I would have to downgrade Zabaleta to Nastasic. Do people think this is a significant downgrade? He's played two consecutive 90 minutes so I'm wondering if he's likely to be a fixture of the defence for the rest of the season barring another injury.

    Theo out Ozil in. Will leave the team looking like this;

    Szczesny
    Coleman, Mert, Zab
    Hazard, Yaya, Henderson, Ozil
    Suarez, Welbeck, Ade

Going to hold out for a while and see how that does me before playing the wildcard! Henderson will be getting moved out next week I think.

I had Nastasic a good chunk of last season. He'll be a certain starter barring injury, but is zero goal threat. Think he's scored once ever in premiership. Zabaleta offeres the chance of goals but is more likely to get rotated. So to sum up, no, not much of a downgrade I'd say.

Any thoughts on this squad lads?
Thinking of playing my wild card and going with this...

    Szczesny Davis
    Koscielny Chester Ward Coleman Cole/Zab
    Yaya Eriksen Januzaj Cabaye Hazard
    Suarez Rooney Lukaku

Have 1.4m in the bank to upgrade Rooney to Aguero when he comes back in.
Probably change Erisken for Ramsey when he's fit again too.
Zabaleta has done nothing the last while for me, really tempted to change him to Ashley Cole.

Not much of a downgrade if City start to keep a few clean sheets.
Zab has been surviving on assists for a while now.
If City don't stop conceding I'd look elsewhere.

Both good points. City aren't reliable for clean sheets, so if you take away goal threat it doesn't bode well from defender returns. Maybe that 5.1 could be better spent elsewhere.

I'm going for Jonny Evans as an alternative to Nastasic though picking a United defender at the moment isn't filling me with too much confidence!

I don't think that's a good idea. I considered getting Evans in myself but United are playing atrocious stuff. I'd avoid for the time being anyway.

And he went off last night with a back injury.

Have solved the problem by replacing Szczesny with two cheap rotating gks and getting Koscielny in instead. Leaves me with Kos, Coleman and one of Ward, Chester or Clyne every week...happy enough with that.

Stones in for Ivanovic. Distin/Jags out again this week. Norwich and West Brom coming up so fingers crossed for a clean sheet bonus

Could be a decent move to tide you over till wildcard, Stones seems to have had had a stormer last week, problem as I see it is that Everton have been leaky enough with Jags and Distin on board, it's difficult to see them keeping clean sheets without them, Baines may be out also this week but that's less of a concern for you.

kolo toure 4.5 now could be a decent short term move as it looks like sakho and agger will be out for a couple of weeks.

Anyone considering doubling Arsenal defence? Nice fixture coming up.

I have szcesneyshndkflly in goal, thinking of getting Sagna (he's 1mil cheaper than Mert). I think 2 defensive players are enough.

Is anyone gambling on Gnabry? Could be an fantastic differential

I have nastasic in my team at the moment. Is he worth keeping? Who's a better option for around 5.5? I'm not sure if he is/will be a regular starter

Kolarov or Azpi in that price range if you dont have Koscielny. e defo worth keeping

Looks like Yaya Toure might have done a Walcott!

    Team is being decimated!

Don't think any Man City defenders are worth keeping, once I had a proper look at Zabeleta's points tally in the last several gameweeks and considered his static cost, it was time to dump. Wouldn't go near Man City defenders until they show some sembelance of form.

Bulletproof Toure has a goal & assist now. Silva owners should be nervous :P:pac:

Why couldn't Negredo do this in the league?

Must be nearly time up for big Sam.
