Why couldn't Negredo do this in the league?

Must be nearly time up for big Sam.

The 13th highest paid manager in the world on 3.5 million a year.

For some reason I've waited until most sane members of our clan were in bed to ask this question but nonetheless here I go: Arteta -> Ozil for -4? Or wait until after Saturday to do it for free when he'll be 10.1 probably.

As I have exhaustively and obsessively demonstrated with dodgy sums on the other thread theres a good chance he'll only be 10.0

I'm holding back partly for that reason and also cause his returns away are patchy, and I can see that game being low scoring anyway.

And I'm just going to bed now....

I reckon I'll leave it considering I'd forgotten all about it until just now anyway, Arteta could (he won't but he could) get a Pen anyway. Cheers

Negredo scored all his goals in this game only..this GW is gonna be a dud for him.

Went for Santon over Nastasic in the end.

    Cabaye, Walcott, Zabaleta out;
    Eriksen, Ozil, Santon in.

If Cabaye is confirmed out before 11:30am on Saturday I might bring in Lallana at a 4 point hit. I want to wildcard him in anyway but could do with having him for the next two GW's.

Think I'll be playing my 2 free transfers tonight. It'll be the global Walcott -> Ozil. Out of Cabaye and Rooney, I think I'll be taking Cabaye out, which leaves me 6.3m to spend on a mid to perform over the next 2 GWs before I play my WC.

At the minute I'm thinking of going with Barkely. He will essentially be my 4th mid, but Sterling will likely start one or both GWs depending, so not huge pressure on me to get this decision right.

Done. Plan (all going well) is to make no transfer on GW22, then 2 FTs for GW23, shaping the team for the midweek games. Then pretty much activating WC straight away in line for GW24.

Want to do Cabaye ----> Lallana but .1 short

The above is for a hit so don't want to take a -8. Want to get rid iof Cabaye before he falls, any other options?

Edit - Will prob go with Erikson, cannot believe his price has dropped to 7.2

Don't think that warrants a double hit like you say. What about Eriksen? After Cabaye and Lallana, there is a bit of a jump. Barkley, Whittingham, Ki, Januzaj and the likes. Barkley for me edges those.

Just spotted Erikson there before your post, gonna go with him. Didn't think his price was anywhere near as low. Favourable enough fixtures & Paulinho injured helps as well

Ya I wouldn't mind getting him in right now either as it would be nice to have Spurs cover, but can't squeeze him in yet. Maybe when I WC soon. It's a no brainer for you so, particularly if you have no other Spurs right now.

Eriksen the obvious one. Arteta maybe?

If you want to take a punt for a couple of weeks and feel like gambling on playing time then there's players like Mirallas and Valencia who are affordable in that bracket and it doesn't matter as you'll take them back out after wildcard. If I knew Mirallas would play then I like him as a differential for next couple of weeks.

Another option would be to use your bench if it's not in too bad shape. It'd save you the point hit and you should not lose any cash on the players you're considering. I don't think they'll drop or rise.
That being said Eriksen home to CP is tempting alright.

It's funny, almost every second week when somebody are playing Palace at home there's always a mad scramble to get attackers in (myself included on a few occasions) yet they have acquitted themselves rather well defensively, infuriating the masses. Although considering I have no Spurs players going into the weekend it's a week they'll naturally run riot. Just passing the observation on.

anyone thinking of bring david luiz since he seems to being cm now rather than cb ?

I've used my wildcard to bring in augero , he'll be back soon and I really think he's a must have.

Why not transfer out Aguero for someone cheaper that will play and keep the funds there to transfer him back in on his return?

I'm being pulled more and more in favour of Rodriguez. He has the same number of goals as Giroud, Ramsey and Hazard, yet is only £6.2m.

Despite injuring himself, I think Yaya has swayed me over to the dark side. He's a greedy f**ker, and that is great for FF. Every time City go two goals up he moves into a more forward position, and almost plays as a striker.

I agree with this too. I was all set for Yaya to Silva in the wildcard for the rest of the year but for the sake of saving a small bit of money I'm no longer sure it's worth it.

Yaya just seems to be made of stronger stuff to Silva and scores consistently. I have to weigh up which I think will score more from now to the end of the season.

Or I could have both if I wildcard and get something like this:

    Marshall (Mannone)

    Sagna Evans Toure (Ward) (Chester)

    Hazard Yaya Silva Ozil (Mutch)

    Suarez Aguero JayRod

...looks pretty sexy on paper though the defense is in crap, could maybe do Olsson and Distin instead of Evans and Kolo

Here is where i am currently, could i get some advice..

To replace Walcott with arsenal cover, i need to take a -4. The obviosu one is Ozil, but i am thinking of Cazorla for a differential.

To get Ozil in, i could do the following:
    Ade in for Lukaka
    Brown in for Evans, or,
    Manonne in for Howard.

I would do Brown/Evans if was taking a hit but i am more inclined to bring in Oscar, Lallana, Gerrard or Silva and not tale a hit. I can always rejig with the wildcard.

Anyone else see another transfer there?

Any updates on Yaya and Cabaye? Am thinking of shipping one of them for Sidwell before activating the WC on Saturday afternoon.

I'd find it hard to convince myself that Ozil or Cazorla will score more than 4 points over Oscar, Lallana, Gerrard or Silva so I wouldn't go for the hit.

Suppose a lot rides on if you want Ozil in for the long term, whether you can allow him to go up a few 0.1's and when you plan on playing your wildcard.

Barkley now a doubt for the weekend

Does anyone have any info on Navas & Rooney injuries? both doubtful @ 75% likelihood to play.

Wondering whether to bench Rooney this weekend and play SuarRodriguez

Rooney has been 75% for a lot of the season and only missed 2 games - so take that for what it is
