biddy , has it got a valve to divert oil to a tipping pipe? check this is not diverting oil from lift arms. Is the pump putting the engine under pressure? you don't split them to change pump,, you lift off the top cover complete with lift arms. there id a little roller link you can lose or break, be careful. There is a DVD available that guides you through every step. happy new year!
asked him there, said engine not under pressure, will report back later thanks

Get the oil warmed up and see does it come out then as oil will find it hard to flow in this weather. Wondering why there was no oil in it when ya got it as it doesn't sound like its a case of a burst seal and it was repainted at one point. Was it owned by the previous owner for long.

Warning that was given to me one time is be careful of a restored tractor as in one mans version of a restored tractor or rebuilt engine is different to another mans.

Have a few mates who would love to drive that beast along with myself. She looks well I have to say :)
Strangely trucks are terrible at holding value, the new ones lose value very quickly. That Scania could be worth the same as a 6 or 7 year old truck.
