I must be well out of the darts loop, never seen this Wright fella before :pac:

Like his demeanor though, seems like a cool customer.

    But looks ridiculous.

Wright has just been lethal on that double 16. It looks a certainty every time he wants it.

Lads is it a big surprise to see Wright going so well. He was seeded 16 I think at the start of the tournament. What's his form been like all yr

wut? He's consistently on 100 average all game

that's true, whitlock upped his to win his first set. They've both been very consistent with Wright just scoring that bit better and super finishing especially on the 16´s.

Shame his Darts name isn't "Turtle Man" or that would have been quite a decent pun.

In all seriousness, does Wright play regularly in the PDC? He is a new name to me.

We can only hope that Wright takes at least this form into the final, because he will need to. Hope he doesn't do a Hamilton and be annoyingly consistent all the way through, only to deflate in the final and give us a one-sided game.

Hope not, Hamilton was class that year till the final.

Hes been improving rapidly over the last 18 months or so.

Wasnt expecting this level but he was a lively outsider.

    that was awesome from snakebite

well deserved...got nervous on his own throw but pulled it back and if he can reproduce the same form as he has all tournament it will take really good darts to beat him.

Most consistent performer of the tournament. Full deserving of a place in the final. Best of luck to him. He's going to need a bit.

SKY's trademark is overhyping sporting events to comical levels. Going straight to MvG/Lewis is only them staying true to form.

Wright just choked the life out of Whitlock there.
Never allowed him back into the game at all once he got ahead.
    Great darts.

wright can barely string a sentence together, looks like he is happy enough just to be in the final, wouldn't be a good role model for darts if he won either as he is not exactly a wordsmith and it's important that darts targets a more literate upmarket and articulate audience in order to grow

I agree, he's a B+ player, him being the face of darts wouldn't be best for business.

This was a parody post and not meant to be taken seriously

Anyone's a better role model for darts than Taylor, so consider it a step in the Wright direction.
