Thanks! I've been after this one for a while, one finally popped up over on J+.

It's mad that a game so great can share similar hardware to Dinorex :D (although the both share something in that they're incredibly crazy games!)

The Taito F3 has some wonderful games on it. Bubble Symphony and Darius Gaiden off the top of my head.

Almost pulled the trigger on an F3 kit a few months back which contained Darius Gaiden and Elevator Action Returns. Was a bit too pricey though. Actually I have an F3 mobo lying around which can hopefully be restored with a bit of work.

Metal Black and Dinorex actually come from the gen before that, Taito F2. Liquid Kids is probably another one you'd know that uses that hardware :)

I thought it was F3 because of all the crazy sprite effects in that game!

Blame it on lots of hardware expansion! I'm interested in having a good gawk at this PCB when it arrives - I believe there's a lot of extras stuck on there to allow more than your usual F2 game.

I was only playing that during the week, it's on Taito Legends 2 on the ps2. Don't know how that version stacks up against the original version but I found it pretty good. Nothing beats having the real thing though, no room to start collection pcbs myself:(

Tell me about it! They're some commitment. You really need to be careful with storing them too - treat them like Vinyl and stand them vertically.

I did have a good brainwave a week or two ago and cut down the storage requirements by half, two PCBs per box :D

If you think how much space it would take to house all the games from the two ps2 Legends games in pcb form:eek: Think i'm better with the two dvd cases. In my eyes those two games are essential ps2 purchases.

Just having a browse through the games lists - that's some amount of content!

Will have to pick them up myself :)

There only small money too, a must have if ever I saw one. Kiki KaiKai is on the second Legends disk, loved that in the arcades. Have the second one the sfc, still on the hunt for the first one though.:(

The Capcom Classics Collections are brilliant also, I only have Volume 2 but the list of games on both are excellent. Picked up Vol. 2 when I was looking into getting Varth, too rare and expensive for the board so PS2 version will do. :)

I never picked them up yet, meant to get them but never did. Picked one of these up last year and wouldn't mind the set, Nice artwork on the inside in a little book, sh1ts all over the packaging of the pal version too. This price seems very high in comparison to the on I got but there are some nice photos in the listing. I think the SF compilation could be the most expensive of the set but it's still not stupid money. Sorry about the huge picture:o

I have the Taito and Capcom collections, pretty nice, there's some variation in the former across the PS2 and Xbox, with a selection of exclusives.
I also have the 4 disc pal set of the Capcom stuff on the PS1 and the two Capcom disks for the PSP.
They are all pretty generous, especially compared to today.

Galaxy Force II, Shinobi III and Streets of Rage 3D for the 3DS .
All three are worth it !

Oh and my CAVE shop edition Akai Katana Shin arrived unharmed and untouched by customs .

SMJ now lets you put the value you want on your parcel, something they never allowed before .

Downloaded NES Remix today, certainly captured the spirit of WiiWare, a lot of fun.
    One thing though.
The links to the Eshop so you can spend more money and buy the full NES games seems a little mean.
Given that, aside from Super Mario Bros, the full individual games seem to be in there.

Nice! Such a greatly underappreciated game. The problem with the Taito Legends edition is the awful resolution and filtering. To get the best out of those compilations you need to run them through a decent video processor (FM, DVDO, Faroudja etc).

Just some random games today, not much!

Here's something else you may be interested in. Some folks might remember I posted a link a while ago to a PC Engine cable which ran RGB out of the ext bus.

Had a few too many wines one evening and I dropped some heavy coinage on one.

    2013-12-22235844_zpsb612b8e2.jpg

Dat picture quality  I'm so used to seeing PCE games running in composite that RGB is just a revelation.

Now excuse me while I go and play Soldier Blade as it's meant to be seen!

Soldier Blade is a work of brilliance. Both Hudson and Naxat made some wonderful STG's.

Star Parodier is one of my favourites (mainly because over a weekend I was able to 1cc it with each of the characters :D), the nods to other games and the general eye-destroying neon colours make it a wonderful game to play. Plus the score attack mode is ace too!

If you like those games check out the Naxat Carnival series. Recca, Alzadick and Nexzr Special are all sensational.

So my copy of Joystick Gamers #2 arrived this morning. Didn't think it would turn up so quick since I only ordered it last week after seeing Casey's post.

    4fVBAMi.jpg

Some fairly battered looking cabs in it, rust is a common theme it seems. :(

Not sure what these three fold out leaflet things are about.

Have Dragon's Crown for the Vita and Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen for the 360 incoming also.

So just got my gamecube lot

    20131223_215805_zpsjgv9jfyw.jpg

Boxed controllers and everything, nothing is taken out of the boxes here either

    Not one but two Zeldas

    20131223_215842_zpsxvqbml2c.jpg

The seller also threw in a few extra bits

    20131223_215931_zpsoojc4z98.jpg

Have to say it was 100 well spent!
