Smooth Moves is a fun game especially if you've had a few drinks beforehand.

Got Super Mario 3D Land for WiiU from herself at Christmas. Only getting a chance to play through it now. It's quite fun, I'm enjoying it tmuch more than New Super Mario Bros. U anyway.

So, I now own a Wii-U. I was not expecting that.

Got NSMBU with Super Luigi on disc, near the end of the former and I'm already 1/4th of the way through Earthbound again; times they be good. Luigi U seems heir to the Mario NES titles of yore in terms of challenge, going to be a goody.

not retro at all but the steam sale so far has netted me:
    Rise of the Triad(2013)
    DisplayFusion(handy for multimonitor stuff)
    Lunar Flight
    To The Moon
    Super Hexagon
    Toki Tori
Time Gentlemen, Please!/Been there done that
    Shadowgrounds
    The Stanley Parable
    Dishonored (ROW)
    Bioshock Infinite (WW)

currently I've just played the stanley parable (which is great), and lunar flight (which isnt but looks unbelieveable on the oculus rift)

    Do it.

I bought nsmb wii u as I don't think mario 3d world would arrive. It did on Xmas eve but I still haven't played it yet cause I'm running through nsmb as I'd started it.

I don't think it gets the credit it deserves.

I plays great and looks fantastic imo.

Nothing new really but it's 2d mario. I like it.

If I had the funds I'd be all over it. I'm currently trying to convince my younger brother to get it and not a PS4.

While the handheld NSMB titles are pretty meh NSMB WiiU is just like the Wii version, really damn good and up there with the best mario games.

I popped on Luigi U yesterday and switched it off having lost 4 lives and gotten no further.
Its like the Dark Souls crowd got to Miyamoto and forced him to make it.
That's to say its ruddy hard!

These two chaps arrived from Amazon this week, bit of a Dragon theme going on I guess. Check out the scabby packaging with Dragon's Crown, case and cart, no manual or leaflet even. Good thing it was cheaper than the PSN version then!

I've made note of what retr0 said about not finishing a particular quest in Dogma before completing some island, otherwise the DLC kicks in. Or something like that. :)

I've not gotten a PS Vita game that has had a manual. At most it's a crappy online pass or something.

Once you beat the main Dragon's Dogma a new area opens up. You can do whatever you want there but there's a quest to pick up 15 trinkets of some sort. You can do that but once you hand them over you are locked into the true ending and new game plus. It's best then to do the DLC before you hand them over, the DLC is much tougher so you'll need the extra levels.

I really liked Dragon's Dogma. It was a fun game but became really good during the post game and Dark Arisen quest.

Hahaha! That Dragon's Crown box size versus content pic is hilarious. Sony really should have made their Vita boxes smaller, it just suits handheld consoles more.

Lucky man by the way, I've been itching to play that game for months. The xtra vision knocked down Vita price had me seriously considering getting one.

REALLY keen on Dragon's Crown. Nice get!

Poster actually looks quite well in a frame:

Also made a purchase earlier that Avatan would be proud of:

    IMG_20131228_200658.jpg

Got it purely for the nostalgia value... that and the fact that I like picture discs.

Got Valis III and Revenge of Shinobi in the post today. They've got manuals and everything. Just picturing with the other games I got this month cos why not.

Haven't actually played anything properly yet due to joypad woes the Tototek connector is taking forever to arrive.

Is Dragons Crown really worth it?
Is there the gameplay there or is it Streets of Rage for the next generation?

It's really good. It's made by the guy that made the Capcom D&D games which are considered the best in the genre. I find the melee characters aren't great but the Dwarf with his throws, the elf and the two mages are fantastic to play as. Also you can have 3 other AI characters join you so even if you don't want to play online you still get a multiplayer experience. It's a really wonderful game.

So, Dragons Crown or Tearaway, or do I save my money for Super Hoshi?

    Took a chance today.
Went into Gameslop and spent 20 mins selecting two games from their 2 for 50 ranges, one of them being Tearaway and the other something on the PS3, which I was then told I couldn't have as both had to be on the same format, bugger!
I went back to the shelves and took s chance on Persona 4 Golden, with no idea what to expect from it, side from the recommendations from Retr0, Glob help me.
Also got Gears of War: Judgement for 9 euro.

In retrospect I should have just forgotten Gears and P4 and put another tenner to it and gotten Dragons Crown ....
    Ah well...

Got my Christmas present from my wife this afternoon. Two framed posters. One is my signed Triangle Service poster and signed business card which I had a special extended mount made for it.

The second is a Thunderforce V poster I had vaccum mounted to MDF as it is less valuable but just as cool.

The frames were made locally by a pro framer company. They ship to the UK too and beat any UK price I have found online, especially as the mount and sealing were free and they both have proper string mounts on the back and are sealed up.

An awesome job I think. If anyone wants more info let me know. :)

Persona 4 is a much better game than Dragon's Crown. In fact it's a much better game than anything on sale in Gamestop at the moment. I've gotten Sarah absolutely addicted to it.

I was in Gamestop Balbriggan and they didn't have Gears of War Judgement, I was looking for that cheap :(
