People than roll their eyes or make smart little comments at/about crying/upset children on public transport. If it annoys you so much travel in your own f*king car or walk.

Some people are to far away to walk and/or don't have a car that's probably why they are using public transport, I would assume..

People who take up two parking spaces in a car park. Boils my f**king blood.

Office jargon. A load of balls by people trying to sound more important than they are. Someone told me a few weeks ago that they were "sunsetting" something. I wanted to beat him.

As someone else mentioned, people who ring you on speakerphone. Oh and people who get you to talk on the phone to their friend who you've never met before. Oh and people who make you talk to babies on the phone. Phones in general come to think of it. F**king hate them.

Agreed. Whenever my phone makes any kind of noise, I wrap in a blanket, throw it across the room and then huddle up and cry until the noise stops.

Pretentious college students that talk over me or other people. I was on a Dublin bus to Foxrock with the girlfriend last week and there was no other seats except with a group of students, probably Trinity ones. Anyway they spent the 35-40 minute journey drilling holes in my head with south side Dublin accents, mainly talking about how awesome they did in their Leaving Cert mentioning every subject in great detail, anytime I opened my mouth to my girlfriend they talked even louder and more obnoxiously. Couldn't hear what the girlfriend was saying either, also drove her up the wall. Couldn't wait to get to where we were going. Some students can just go through me for a short cut!

Secondary school students that jump the queue at a deli counter at lunchtime, a lot of them where I'm from, complete lard arses that could do with a few weeks away from the deli counter.

Gobshytes on the dole that live in a well populated urban area and can somehow afford a car.

Parents of young children that actually try and justify smoking weed, and feel they are somehow entitled to it and don't feel they are giving a bad example. Bugs the f**k out of me!

Drivers that text or apply makeup while on the road.

    Inheritance tax.

So the person pays their taxes all their life, dies, leaves whatever to their family and the government is entitled to some of that? GTFO.

If I lived in America, I'd be outraged by gambling tax. I'm risking my money to win money and I have to give some of it to the government? Bull****.

Mandatory car insurance and the statistical probabilities these muppets like to use to their advantage when pricing quotes.

Basically being forced to fork over 1000's for a hypothetical situation or in case someone else's poor precious piece of metal joy gets a scratch on it's bumper in an accident. Pay for it yourself or keep money aside for repairs or a potential write off. One of the biggest wastes of money today I think.

What if you cause major damage to a person? You'd want some money put aside to compensate them.

PMS fills me with raw, undiluted, savage, visceral, boiling apocalyptic rage.

Carbohydrates cure it though, so I'm good.

The kind of attitude that pushes up the cost of insurance for the rest of us.

When people who have no insurance kill or maim or write off, the rest of us pay the price of them thinking it'll never happen to them.

    At the moment my housemate.

    Reasons are:

    - Giving me directions though I have lived here for nearly a year and they are only here a month

    - Always wanting the last word

    - Criticising my taste in music

    - Has no license but insists on giving me driving tips. This particularly does my nut:mad:

    - Has an opinion on EVERYTHING!

    to name a few!

This is the bit I don't get.

Why is a car accident any different to any other type of medical emergency or accident ? There must be plenty of other ways I could inadvertently cause major damage to a person ?

Where's the insurance to cover every other type of scenario ?

Who pays when someone gets involved in accident only involving themselves ?

i.e if I fell off a ladder and broke or damaged a few of my limbs ?

I fail to see the difference between a car accident and any other type of medical emergency/accident.

You could cause an accident tomorrow that could cost more than you could earn in a lifetime. Chew that one over and tell me it's more than a necessary evil.

Alright, having to pay too much for the privilege is a bit of a poop alright. For example, I paid IR£3,885.85 for my first insurance in 2000. That was an astoundingly outrageous figure.

That's what health insurance is for

Ditto if you crash your car while being incredibly stupid in your car and you harm yourself to the extent you can't work etc

For business' its called Public Liability, Employee Liability.

For yourself you have health insurance. Your property insurance covers these things if it happens on your premise (I think) aswell.

A person not having car insurance is incredibly wreckless and selfish. WHat happens if you crash into a car that is 60k in value?

What if you knock someone over on the road? Do you have enough in cash reserves to pay for their medical bills for life?

Out and out rage? Not a huge amount. Things get on my tits but one thing that genuinely get me proper riled up is mouthy ignorant people. Are you not embarrassed by how little you know yet how loud you shout it out to the world? Scarla' for ye (and also raging).

Been said already, but "Animal Cruelty" my main one

The Entitlement culture within Irish society (is rampant, from the higher end of developers in NAMA on millions, to people in Gaeltacht claiming free windows, to people who voluntairly never worked day in life leeching everything)

Neglect and Abuse within the Care profession (eg. Nursing Homes, Childcare services, disability services etc.)

The Anti-Gay Marriage and Pro-Life lobby groups

I get that possibility, however are car accidents like you describe that common, which warrants mandatory insurance ? Should the burden not land on health insurance or even the taxpayer ?

We already have the MIBI, should that not just exclusively cover health related car injuries as opposed to vehicle damage aswell ?

If you cause an accident, you are, or should be, liable.

Thinking it'll never happen to you is just stupid, and people who drive without insurance put the cost of all insurance up for the rest of us, who actually care about the possible consequences of our actions.

People who struggle to put food on the table for their children but will still spend money cigarettes, alcohol, gambling, other non-essentials.

How little I have left after I pay my bills, mortgage, fuel costs, insurance costs, pension, it's never ending. It's just infuriating to be left with so little after working so much.
