    At least Shadow is cool!

Ahh no I'm only messing I do quite like the poster actually I just thought it was ironic that it was a Sonic '06 poster.

Do you mind if I ask where you purchased it actually? Could do with jazzing up the spare room with more framed game related posters.

    Eh, the no poster rule?

Apparently she doesn't mind them in the spare room. I don't know she changes her mind half a million times a day.

She's inflicted with something that causes her to be that way.

You know what the funny part is I don't know one Sonic from the other and didn't even know Sonic '06 was held in such contempt :D

    Got it here.

    Lol no worries mate.

That ebay store is brilliant... and I have to say the quality of the poster is fantastic.

Wonder if he'd print up custom art...

    Picked these up recently.
FFVII was of course picked up at a market and purely for the €2 factor.
Gears was a Black Friday purchase.

Contra 4 landed. Took an absolute age, & at first I thought it looked funny and was a boot...turns out it's a US version & was shipped from the states. I never noticed that when going through the Amazon marketplace.

I'd be more worried if it was a EU release because it never got a release in Europe!

Oh? Ha, I didn't know that :o I've checked the box, manual & cart and all check out with the advised checks. I hate buying DS & GBA games because of how rampant pirating is.

The package does look a little cheap for Contra 4, I guess Konami didn't really care about it!

Yeah I do, got mine from playasia years ago so checks out. It's a bit cheap looking alright so understandable you thought it was a bootleg.

Picked up House of the dead overkill for the Wii a while back but had to exchange the disc due to it freezing. Game is freaking awesome (in my humble opinion) but the replacement is choppy for lack of a better word. It seems to skip for a frame or two a lot of time. Both copys were pre-owned and both copys felt choppy, anyone have a copy? Is it normal for it to studder when shooting dudes? I knew the first one was faulty but this one... not so much but it feels wrong.

I looked on youtube quickly and it seems like I could have a second dud copy but I really can't be sure :(
I'm guessing I do if I'm posting asking if its normal ha ha guess I'll just return it.

Could it be the Wii's actual disc drive? Have you tried it in anything else that's Wii compatible like a WiiU?

Not retro but the wifey has spoilt me for the upcoming event that we know as Christmas

Accidentally stumbled across a Wii U Lego City bundle and a PS4 when looking for something in the attic...... Now that I think of it, they better be for me.

Hope that she has the funds to pay of what I'd imagine will be like a 2nd mortgage for her :-)

Was not really interested in the PS4 as yet but looking forward to trying the Wii U. Was a huge Nintendo fanboy growing up....

Went mad and bought Gridrunner for my S4, thankfully it is free from Llamasoft! linkt dink!

Also got MvC2 and UMvC3 from XBLA before they are gone, and it cost me the massive €8.05!!!
I had been looking for the latter for sometime in physical form, but it was always +€20 and I didn't want to pay that for a game that was really just there for an occasional laugh, at a fiver it was a bargain.
I'm worried that if my 360 goes bang, or rather when my 360 goes bang, I'll lose my purchases as they can't be downloaded from XBLA anymore, can they, even if removed from sale?

I must look at the Nes remix game as well, but I had promised myself no more games before Christmas, but that was about 8 game purchases ago :(

If it's tied to your account you can still download it even if it's not on sale.

I thought that these were being deleted from the service completely, and so we wouldn't be able to download them again.
Well that's a bit of good news then.

I reached new levels of sadness yesterday , Got Euro Truck Simulator 2 yesterday (4 quid from humblebundle store) and had it working with the Oculus Rift and a steering wheel/pedals.As I reversed my Scania into a loading bay for the third time..I realised how ubernerdy all that was (plus I hate driving!..why was I playing it anyway ) switched the PC off and watched sports and drank beer while shouting loudly at the telly as recompense.

That's what I thought the fuss was about too - you download it before the cut off but if you delete the local content or your console dies - then you can't download again?

Sounds like a fun day (minus the beer). Euro Truck 2 is a surprisingly fun game actually, sure what red blooded male (or female) wouldn't like driving trucks about. Maybe partake in some arm wrestling too. :D
