Funny you should say that because I was the same as you when I saw " No Catholics need apply." or being asked which school I attended or being set upon for wearing a medalof the pope, there was only five of them thankfully.

A little different from being shipped off to a concentration camp wouldn't you agree?

A horrible thing to happen to anyone, but in terms of the conversation Not being allowed to sing roll of honour kinda pales in comparison to Goebbels?

Any of you lads that frequent Glasgow (and obviously those who live here) will likely be aware of The Clutha Vaults.
Pretty frightening and puts a lot of things in perspective.http://m.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-25163045

Yeah, apparently the 'copter crew were killed-although not confirmed.

Its honestly astonishing that it hasn't been worse, the clutha is tiny and generally rammed on a Friday night.

has that pub got a affiliation with Celtic or Rangers or just normal pub?

The pub rings a bell for some reason. Do bands play there by any chance?

Big music pub mate, no real affiliation with any clubs support that i know of.
Certainly I know fans of both clubs who would drink in there regularly.

    Alan Ward ‏@WardAlandavid 1h

@gordonsmart @beachthistle Looks like pilot performed autorotation, killed engine and dumped fuel. His heroic actions saved many lives.

I was thinking just that very thing about the pilot when they were talking about the lack of an explosion.
Horrible for their families, and heroic is the only word that can be used for those actions.

I am Celtic Fan for more than 25 years and I am less than 40 , I have parked my Interest until next July/August (CL Qualifiers) as I don't see any reason to get concerned with league/domestic cup at the moment , I recall travelling over in the Tommy Burns days to full houses via Hib's/Heart's etc and great days they were , What is wrong with me ?

Boredom, Scottish Football's ****e no matter what Doncaster, regan and Lawwell tell you.
What's your average ticket at parkhead now? 25/30 quid? On top of travel over from ireland (I assume?).

It's a lot of money for a game against St Mirren on a wet December's Sunday.

(Before anyone starts, Scottish Football was going this way before the Rangers debacle - I've commented before on the fact Glasgow was beginning to look like Dublin with the amount of EPL shirts on show)

Are they starvin on the streets in Glasgow like they are in Dublin, there'll be no courgettes or cucumbers to be had if Scotland votes Yes.

I think I agree with you ! I am at a crossroad's , After the Milan defeat I said to my wife that is me and Celtic finished until next summer , She has no interest in football and looked at me like I was mad , I am diehard and never bothered with a Premiership team but its getting harder to defend Celtic/Scottish Football with all the Brain Washed farts that support EPL teams over here.

The Cup game against Hearts tomorrow is one to look forward to. We'll win the league but we'll have to play well in every Cup game to add the Cup to it, could easily get caught out. Dundee United appear to be putting together a decent young side.

If you tell your wife that you're losing interest in football, it'll only make her suspicious, tell her nothing of the sort would be what I think. I always talk to her about football, she never listens to a word, it comes in handy when she talks to me about stuff i'm not bothered about:pac:

Restructuring should of happened along time ago. The structure of SPL really showed how badly flawed it was towards the end. A glorified mechanism for Old Firm Games.

Why do you feel the need to validate brainwashed farts opinions by defending Celtic to them? Most know nothing about football outside of the EPL and supported an EPL club because it was winning and didnt want a slagging in school for thinking like anything other than a sheep.

Yep the cup at least keeps a bit of interest up, easy to be caught out (as we've seen already in the league cup) and every game is important. Looking forward to tomorrow. It's on BBC1 Scotland as far as I know. As strong a side as possible please Neil, take no chances in this one. Will be nice to have Broony back in there.

It's a real shame that one or two of the other top flight clubs couldn't get a cash injection, especially with the demise of Rangers as an incentive. The gap is still much too big between Celtic and the rest it would seem.

Just on BBC as far as I know, Sky have the early game.

If you have a Sky dish, you can get BBC Scotland.

Lennon is afraid to crash out of another cup competition. Player development takes a backseat once again.

Cant wait to see the gamechanging Rogic sprung from the bench!

Just as rangers fans are complaining about missing an opportunity to bring players through, Lennon's as guilty of the same. Hopefully its something he'll look at when its back to the league
