Commons is the only player we have that can make something out of nothing. We really miss that these days - Nakamura was outstanding in that regard. A player who could just come on and change the game single handedly. Commons is the only player who will take shots outside the box as well, I dunno if the management have bred that out of the team or what.

    Really interesting yeah. lol

Commons is easily snuffed out when playing decent teams

Enjoyed that. Always nice to beat them, esp. on their home turf.

In fairness though, they looked a completely inexperienced team, and a very young team at that. Once Celtic got a goal or two, there was always the potential for the flood gates to open.

I do agree we have a problem with the strikers though. I know Stokes had a few assists, but when Broony can get two in a game, you expect a striker to come up with a couple.

Like the look of Fisher again, plenty of confidence. Ambrose made his customary blunder again, thankfully it's didn't cost us, and I thought he did well overall in fairness. Commons is a smashing finisher when he gets decent chances, great to see him back in form.

Pukki, I dunno, losing any faith in the guy whatsoever. Lennon would be better sticking Balde in there again tbh.

He should play Balde up front for a few games. Give him a run in the team, he hasn't given him a chance yet, just throws him on for 10 minutes here and there. Pukki has had lots of chances. Put in Balde now, no use putting him on in dead rubber end of season games when the league is won. He's probably good enough for the SPL anyway and Pukki looks lost for confidence.

This thing of buying players for around 2 million, that aren't quite good enough has to stop, Bangura is definitely a write off, not looking good for Pukki and maybe Balde as well. He should give Balde a run in the team though.

I'm sure you'll be quick to find it interesting if Rangers look like struggling!

Ye'll be doing well to be still in business by the end of this season, never mind struggling next season! :pac:

In fairness he has a point, quite a bit of competition for promotion there.

His lack of fitness shows in the CL. He's still often our only threat though, and his chemistry with Stokes is very good. I think he's one of Lennon's finest signings.

I should have worded my post better though, I didn't mean he can actually make something out of nothing in the Nakamura mold, more that he is the closest we have to that at the moment. GMS would answer that question in a major way, in domestic games at the very least.

I genuinely do not follow lower league football and I find the media's desperate attempts to keep your club relevant boring in the extreme to be honest. As much of a cakewalk as we make the SPL and as procedural as our games can feel it must be much, much worse for ye. Every game for you lot is basically a David v Goliath cup match.

Thought he looked very good. Wouldn't go as far as saying he's another gem of the Van Dijk ilk or anything, would have to see a bit more of him first. He is better than Kayal I reckon.

Great win for Celtic against Hearts who have a bad owner whos running them into the ground.

Hope Celtic and Rangers meet in the next round.

    Agreed ;)
Because we just bet your big brothers 7-0 or other reasons :P ?

I personally just see there being nothing in it for us but a whole lot to gain for you. If we win it'll be brushed aside as just us beating a 'lower league team' (second biggest budget in Scotland) whereas if we lose we would never hear the end of it.

There are no "old times" though. That's another reason, the media would fall over themselves to legitimize it and resurrect all that pathetic "Old Firm" bollocks.

Hugh Keevins could resist a pop at both clubs. His axe to grind is perfectly evident when he came out with this beauty
f it’s easy enough to ban me from his ground for a year and a half for an unspecified reason, why can’t he clean up the club’s image and do the same to those with a list of ‘previous’ the length of your arm?

Seems everyone else knows except him. A pathetic hack

"The police wouldn’t let the pair play in Glasgow on the same day in broad daylight last season."- doesn't this happen in cities all over the world? It's nothing to do with violence its because of traffic and not leaving the rest of the city with a depleted police force.

There's so much wrong with this, and all the rest of his articles that I feel taking too long discussing them is a victory for him. He's a laughing stock in an industry that is itself a laughing stock.

Sorry that is nonsense for exactly the reason you mentioned we would be expected to at least give you a game, but I fear we would get gubbed as for your other point I am not biting because it would be pointless you would say one thing and I would say another and round and round we would go. But if it makes you happy carry on

lol so it's nonsense but you think it might happen anyway? what?

as for your other point I am not biting
My other point wasn't addressed to you, get over yourself.

You said that in a post you quoted me in and that was the second point in your post.

The other point was in another post that I also meant to put in my post so I will apologise for that.

Also you do know that this is an open forum and if you post something it can be replied to by anyone. So if you don't want other people to reply you should use the PM button so I fear it is you who "should get over yourself"

I should send a PM every time I want to respond to somebody? lol ok.

You're free to discuss and respond to the point I made, but don't think it was there to get you to "bite" when it wasn't even directed at you. If I wanted a rise I'd have said it in my response to your post but funnily enough I purposefully didn't mention it then because lord knows you're not half defensive over it.

That's not what I said. You really are good at changing what people write when you read it.
And if you don't want me to get defensive over stuff you type then don't write it. I certainly will respond if I feel strongly enough

And yet at no point did I say I did not want you responding, or that you shouldn't. Merely you should "get over yourself" and not assume everything is intended to wind you up. It would be like shooting fish in a barrel at the end of the day.

And yet you feel the need to keep explaining how easy it is why don'y you just stop this crap
And to make it easy for you I won't be responding to about this subject after this, As I know that once again you will probably want to have the last word. ;):)

Still on a high after Sundays performance. Easily our best of the season. The passing the movement and speed of play was oustanding. I felt confident that a trip to Tynecastle was the perfect game to have after Tuesdays nights Champions League exit but wow I never expected that kind of performance. Simply top quality all over the park.
