Same, I'm absolutely snowed under with college work at the moment. I might have some time for a bit of Dayz this weekend and next week though.

Wow this thread/game has disappeared over the last few months. Stopped playing myself, but this video is from footage a few guys here might be interested in. Was recorded a few months ago on the Overwatch server when those of us on Teamspeak split into seperate squads & had various battles through out the night. Enjoy!

So me and a few buddies were playing last night and everything running smoothly, does anyone recommend any good mods?

We were playing the vanilla and it was great fun, searched everywhere and found nothing!

a few people on the gaellords team speak have started playing epoch panthera
playing ont he [MGT] server buts it rather difficult to get in will see if they move to another server that is not as densely populated

I watched a bit of it, it was quite long. The crafting system they've introduced seems extremely extensive and complex. It looks good though and I can't wait to play it.

Yup I can see how to install download them just had a few questions regarding them.

If I play an Origins server will I keep my loadout on every server I play it on, or just the one server I start it on?

Any other tips or anything would be great as I am a DayZ/PcGaming noob!

yup. It seems to work ok though. Good effort this time . Altis is surprisingly very atmospheric for a survival mod although very empty yet. If numbers pick up for this mod and it keeps developing it could be damm good

I just downloaded dayz to steam but when I go to join any servers it seems that steam is running on an older version and theres no option to update.Am I doin it wrong?

Also presuming I get it working can you recommend any servers?

in order to play dayz from steam you will need to install the beta patch should be an option in steam for that. done it a long time ago and completely forget where that option is.

if your new to arma and how the mods work best to download and use dayz commander the all in one tool, to get you going then you can learn about the manual way later.

Myself and a buddy have just started playing Origins and were wondering any of ye played on a particular server? A lot of the people we come across are snipers hiding away :pac:

There was a few lads on here who used to run an overwatch server but I think they are all currently addicted to BF4. Could be wrong though, they might still have the server up. I haven't played in a while.

We are now playing DayZ Epoch on Panthera & addicted to BF4. Not planning to run any more DayZ Mod servers, will have a standalone one when we can.

Any other Panthera Epoch servers out that are not full of PSI people and Frankie people? Last I checked there was only 2 and Frankie played on one and Psi played on the other, making me concious of hackers and constantly full servers.

well downloaded commander(cheers laviski) but the fps in any servers I join is shocking

between 6 and 10 fps!!

Will have to check the video settings tomorrow,to tired now.Have a decent enough rig so am a bit shocked at the fps been that low.
