Correct they will not do them for consoles re: Security concerns for staff and the public.

Does anyone know the deal with trading in current gen games and wanting to upgrade to next gen with GS, is it €15 to upgrade to the next gen title?

I was just in Brown Thomas there, a girl in the Marvel Room told me they won't be getting anymore PS4's after launch. If you secured one with them you got lucky.

Rang Argos in Galway .. they said that their suppliers went broke and there some big mix up .. end result no PS4 in Argos on launch day. They hope to get some in December

Just back from GameStop in Stephens green, fully paid and guaranteed killzone mega bundle. Can pick it up Thursday night or wait till 8am Friday as it's opening early for anyone who can't make the midnight launch.

Does anyone know if Smyths are taking money on the night or will people need to pay there beforehand? Don't mind either way but it is a question I have forgotten to ask whenever I have spoken to them.

Just off the phone to BOI there to see was the money taking off my card for my PS4 off gamestop and it has it was taking last thursday

All she told me was I would defo get a call today or tomorrow for Friday. I ordered about 5days after the deadline so was surprised to hear her say that. Maybe some smyths got extras to get more of they're list sorted

I also asked about advanced payment she said I would pay on the day I pick it up. When I do get the call I will post the details here.

Srry forgot to say asking you to midnight launch.they asked him to it and double checked he still wanted the killzone bundle.

For the xbox one last week they were taking money on the night (i paid via gift card and credit card).

I presume the bundles on offer, on the night, will be the same.

Offers were the following:

XBOX One + 1 game
Xbox One + 2 games 610
Xbox One + 1 game and 1 controller 595

Don't know what the 1 game bundle was (also, these offers were in addition to Forza/Fifa with the console).

Would assume the PS4 deals will be the same - just minus 100 from the total.

Just back from XV in Finglas about a refund. The manager told me nobody was forced to buy anything they didn't want to during the Xbox One launch and would be the same for the PS4. He couldn't believe it that was I asking for a refund so close to launch! He was extremely adamant about it and reassured me that I would get one on launch. It's too late now as I already paid in full with Brown Thomas.

It's a shame that one branch is going to cost XV a fortune.

Same as you 20th of June to be exact.they asked him did he still want his solus or he could have they killzone bundle.he went with the killzone one.just hoping that if I turn up on thursday night and I'm not on some kind of list they might not let me get one.

I have a list of the bundle offers from Smyths, similar to xbox by the look of it but because of all the bundles there are a few variations.

PS4 + Any 1 game = 449.99
PS4 + Any 1 game + extra controller = 499.99
PS4 + Any 2 games = 509.99

PS4 Killzone or Knack bundle + 1 game = 489.99
PS4 Killzone or Knack bundle + 1 game + extra controller = 529.99

PS4 Killzone or Knack bundle + 1 game + 1 game from FIFA 14, NFS Rivals or Battlefield 4 = 549.99

Killzone megabuindle + any 1 game = 549.99

Strange, So you never got a phone call about upgrading to the Killzone mega bundle?

I'd go in and ask them if I were you. Doesn't sound right to be one of the first to pre order and not get an offer

I'm sure you'll have no issues getting your system at launch though :pac:
