It's taken a few months (and far too much money) but my stock for the winter is nearly complete!

O'Hara's Barrel Aged Leann Foláin. Franciscan Well Jameson Stout. White Gypsy Imperial 'Russian' Stout. BrewDog Cocoa Psycho. BrewDog Tokyo*. Black Sheep Brewery Imperial Russian Stout. Goose Island Bourbon County Stout. Brooklyn Brewery Black Chocolate Stout. Sierra Nevada Narwhal Imperial Stout. To Øl Black Ball Porter. Nøgne Ø Imperial Stout. Schloss Eggenberg Samichlaus Classic.

Just waiting on one last special delivery in the next few days, all going well. Should be a good Christmas! :D

What day should we all come over?

I'll take a photo of my Christmas Warchest laid out after I do the last run in December. It's shaping up to be a very fuzzy one.

You should pick up some stout to compliment those.

I'm waiting to hear back from someone about a small delivery from a nice little place in the west of Belgium. ;)

I'm also looking forward to Erdinger's Schneeweisse hitting the shelves. :)

    Odell's 5 Barrell Pale Ale.

:/ Not what I was expecting after the Porter and IPA. It sort of tastes like a diluted IPA. Nice bit of citrus taste, but not one I'd get again. Probably a good beer for someone looking to get into IPA's from lighter beers for the first time.

Had a rocheforte 10 on Tuesday. It's a while since I had one but it was unpleasantly sweet.i did not enjoy it. I had a westvleteren 12 on Sunday so maybe the taste buds were spoilt.
I had a sn beer camp black IPA last night again, and I'm still very impressed as it's lovely. Also had a founders centennial IPA and great flavours too.

Its not an IPA, its a pale ale, which I suppose is a 'diluted IPA'

Dropped into The Headline and tried the Kinsale Wheat Ale, which is another hit from these guys. Had the McGargles IPA, was prepared to not like it with the nonsense marketing stuff and UK contract brewing around it and didnt.

Well the boy arrived last Thursday night but never got the chance to have a beer in a week.

Having a Full Sail following it with a Hoptimum tonight.

I like the 5 barrell a lot, but then I do like the pale ales. Easier to drink a lot of them than the IPAs. Main issue I have with it is it's about €3.40 in Whelans

I think I payed 3.50 in O'Briens. I was glad they had the IPA, though.

Having an O'Hara's DIPA. It's good. It's missing something to make it great.

Sierra Nevada's Kellerweis; very nice beer but I prefered Widmer'a Hefeweizen.

    Congratulations on the baby, Ciaran.

Last night I ended up in Against the Grain and managed to have the following:
    Of Foam and Fury
    Punk
Galway Bay Red (can't remember the official name at the moment)
    Thornbridge Jaipur

The Foam and Fury really is a cracking beer. The real test will be to see if they get the bottling right.
I've an awful head on me this morning though. :(

Bay Ale, that's the one. Far nicer on draught. The bottled version is incredibly insipid.
Had a nice breakfast roll. Feel a lot better now!

I think babies are the reason I'm moving towards craft! While before I could have had a fair few of the regular Stuff as I had the time, I'm actually making a thing of enjoying a single beer when I find the time! Christening this weekend so maybe I'll be havimg more than 1

Anyone know of a good off licence near the nango rd/ Naas rd? Wouldn't mind picking a few up while I'm around the area

The Fuller's tasting room consists of getting 8 different qtr pints then a sample of 1845 and then a half of your favourite...in half an hour! Should be a fun walk back to the hotel.

You have to drink for two now! Are Full Sail based out of Oregon?

He had a Galway Bay Full Sail. It's the name of their IPA.

Not a Full Sail IPA from Hood River, OR.
