The primordial soup, from whence we came. Google it, plenty to read on it too. Lots of sources and papers published in science magazines.
... so it just has to be true ... just because a number of 'groupthinkers' believe it and write papers about it!!!:D

Maybe it's because it's a better theory than what the other group think.

And this can't be applied to the members of a religion and their written Holy Book because...?

I have seen a Zombie with my own eyes. I didn't look upon his face, and I'm fairly certain it was real, and I was hallucinating or anything...

The fact it was Halloween had nothing to do with it.

Why hasn't J C been banned yet? In the 8+ years he has spent wasting Boards' servers, he has spentrefused to engage his brain by reading about evolution from REPUTABLE sources instead of Pastor Billy-Bob from Butt*ck Nowhere, Mississippi.

Didnt answer the prayers of americans during 9/11.

Got any credible recent examples of where he answered a group of peoples prayers?
All the above are examples of Human Beings abusing their God-given free will ... to do evil.
This is how free-will works ... it wouldn't be free-will at all, if God stepped in every time somebody decided not to be good.
The justice system deals with these issues in this life ... and God will deal with them in the next life.
That is why Christians render unto the state the issues in this life that are within the competence of the state ... and unto God the things that are God's.

You've been free to make a fool of yourself for the last decade, and you've really taken that freedom with both hands. We were kind of hoping you'd not repeat yourself every couple of months, but I guess someone who takes a millennia-old book literally would have problems coming up with new material.

Genetic algorithms do create their own "software to run".

Even though the information is conveyed as a result of "On/OFF" it would not be doing anything if human's had not programmed them to do so.

Sure we now have the technology to store information in molecules, however the information itself still has to come from some one.

Just like a computer is useless without it's software and a computer did not create it's own software to run.

I'm not even talking about software here. I'm talking about the microchips that computer's are built of. We simply fabricate or "grow" them in ways that allow us to obtain the desired properties. Information on a computer is nothing more than exploiting the flow of electrons between metals. There's nothing to suggest that similar processes can't occur on even smaller materials in identical or analogous ways. By analogy, an x-ray scanner is the result of humans beings exploiting properties of materials. It doesn't mean X-rays can't occur naturally and we know they do.

Because he doesn't do personal abuse and the threads he starts usually lead to some absolute gems of knowledge being shared by others. Ask yourself, how much cool stuff of evolution would you actually know if it wasn't for creationism?

It isn't actually God's will that people die ... He created us physically perfect and potentially immortal ... and it was Human Beings messing about with Satan's death-inducing system of good poisoned with evil that caused death to enter the physical universe ... and we are stuck with it ever since.

So either all these people including priests are worshipping the devil or they all believe god controls death.

Also, god killed more people in the Bible then the devil.
Death has killed untold billions of people and other creatures ... and death intruded on a perfect Creation due to an unholy alliance between Mankind and the devil.

no one has actually answered my original question.

How did the information get into the original strands of DNA.

Also "Genetic algorithms" as you call them do not create their own software to run on.

I've explained this on several occasions before and the explanations are hidden within boards' fossil record for anybody interested.

As it hasn't come up for a while - (a) you don't have "freedom of speech" on boards, any more than you have it when one arrives into somebody's front room and start ranting and raving there. You, as well as every other poster on boards, is provided access to boards.ie by the the goodwill of the site owners who make this site free for use, but only so long as posters stick to the rules which the site owners determine, and according to the additional rules that are specific here to each individual forum. And (b) I don't respect "diversity" any more than I respect the color blue, nor do I believe that difference is useful to encourage when the difference that's expressed is idiocy.

I do, however, think it's useful for people to see and understand why creationism is a big pile of stinky poo and to that end, you've been a stalwart, faithful worker for well on nine years. Finally, while you contribute little or nothing to the ongoing origins debate yourself per se, you do stimulate far more interesting contributions from others which, as I said above, do contribute to this forum importantly. And for that latter indirect contribution, I and I think all posters here in A+A are most thankful indeed.

    By evolution through natural selection.

No, but they create software that runs. Which disproves your point completely.

You think it would be ok to have sex with your daughter? Or for your daughter to have sex with her brother?
I don't actually ... sex with a daughter has always been outlawed ... and with a sister since Abraham's time.

Darwin had no problem having sex with his grandfather's grandaughter ... just one degree of consanguinity beyond his sister ... and having children with health problems, as a result.

... pre-existing genetic information ... and it's the author of this information that is at issue ... and genetic information is of such perfection, specificity and complexity that the author had to be a Being of God-like omnipotence.

An information destroying phenomenon, like mutagenesis, certainly cannot produce it ... but it can destroy it.

... so who or what is the author of genetic information according to Atheists?

You keep mentioning this as if it has some significance.

If Darwin was a mass murder it wouldn't diminish his discoveries one iota. Also, didn't he marry while he was a believer! :p

Besides, Darwin didn't understand genetics fully, that was mendel's field.

... and here we go, like particularly unoriginal, dishonest clockwork.

For the newer folks, he's talking about the crackpot claims of William Dembski, a particularly stupid man when it comes to evolution. J C seems to be ignoring, as well as all the massive gaping flaws with "CFSI" (up to and including the lack of definition as to what the f*ck that even is), the fact that Dembski himself has abandoned it for the idiocy it is.

The old "Origin of Specious Nonsense" thread has more than a few pages showing J C trying to weasel his way out of the flaws with his loony claims. It was an amazing display, on J C's part, of his willingness to misrepresent facts, run away from questions, outright lie to our faces, and then try and play the oppression card by likening us all to Nazis and so forth.
