I kept hearing this. Then I played it. Sonic fans seem to be so desperate for a good Sonic game that they proclaim mediocrity like Sonic Generations that still suffers from the same gameplay flaws (Uncontrollably fast with naff level dsign) to be gods gift to Sonic Furries.

I thought the hd level remakes were fun in a nostalgic sense, but the game on the whole doesn't hold a candle to the classic games in the series

At this stage I'd say Sera is a dab hand at getting out of that scenario

Always running the risk of this when you deal with a laser in that way.

I liked it I have to say. Of course it won't have the same feel of the originals but I actually quite liked the Adventure series of games on the Dreamcast back in the day so I like the 3D Sonic games too.

Anything apart from Sonic 06 or the night-time levels of Sonic Unleashed. *shivers*.

After promising myself no more games until after Jebus day I went and bought, finally, GTI Club for the Wii.
I got it on eBay.de for 17.50 posted.
Here's hoping that, despite the German classification label it is, in fact, in English.

That's not a bad price for that game, must get a copy myself.

Giz a shout when you're inevitably selling it :P

Made by Masaya. Never knew that as a child when I had the PAL version. Also didn't know the PAL and NTSC-U versions are censored. The NTSC-J version is uncensored.

Masaya. Makers of such wonderful titles as Battletoads, Sokoban, Gynoug, Hellfire, L-Dis, Gleylancer...

    ...and Cho Aniki.

    ...and Star Cruiser.

    :(

I only looked that game up, never heard of it. It looks very impressive, especially the X86000 version.

The Mega Drive version is pants. I only bought it for the nice artwork. :o

Got this stuff about a week ago:

...and my prized possesion. A dedicated signed business card and poster of Shooting Love 10th Anniversary. A gift from Triangle Service owner Toshiaki Fujino. Shame I couldn't get the LE copy of the game signed though! :)

I love that poster! Rare enough to come by I take it?

Heh, it's interesting, all comes down to how good the devs are at implementing it and whether it was originally made for VR. Some games nearly instantly made me feel ill. Others I could spend ages in.

Have you played Rift Racer? I really like that one. Absolute amazing sense of nausea/stomach flipping when your car goes way up into the sky and then falls to earth.

Will check that one out, haven't played that yet...looks like it works very well!

Before you start driving just sit and look around the car. You're literally in a car. It's really amazing.

Yep. The posters were given out at a launch event for the game in Osaka so only a handful, literally, exist (afaik).

The signed business card is probably even rarer. I have a photo of Fujino san signing these items somewhere too.

Its next to my signed Clover TAC Progear VHS and Darius Akiba Fair full set of B1 posters now. :D

I got a promo Trizeal soundtrack today as it happens too! It is for the Dreamcast release I think. Got to love Triangle Service OSTs, the one that comes with the 10th anniversary LE is awesome as it has GStream OST on it. :)

I didn't know there was one! Excellent, will finally be able to play them now without having to pick up a VB.
