That car isn't the worst though to be fair.

I always have dice in any of the cars I drive

The 'sport' badge, silver bits on the bumper, weird washer jets and furry dice are all alarm bells for me.

It's had a tip too, look at the offside wing, bumper doesn't line up but lines up perfectly on the nearside....

Pedals are waaaaaaay to shiny and why is it arse down head up?

It wasn't really the dice I was referring to:p

The windscreen washer jets and the bits stuck on to the bumper etc is the tat I was talking about.

Bit harsh, Colm? Someone just likes spending their Saturday job money in Halfords :)

Looks like a decent buy to me. €650 asking price, full years NCT. ELX model too.

Don't think he went to Halfords, perhaps Dealz or the € shop!:D

Ah yes, hanging out at a Topaz Station near you. Conversion will include the usual blacked out windows and furry dice:D

ah i so would. on looks alone, its beautiful just a shame it's silver.

3.0 with 220bhp, it's probably no slouch. i appreciate you'd want the turbo for that tax bill. but tbh nothing, no car in the world could justify 2k a year in motor tax imo. i'd say its a ****ing alcoholic.

Oh fantastic looking alright. THere is a purple one that I see regularly around Harrolds Cross in nice shape :) Not sure what engine is in it.

A n/a one would only be as fast as a mk5+ golf GTI.

Could always spray the roof and hood with matte black , from an Halfords near you:cool:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,903 ✭✭✭✭Toyotafanboi

if i was doing that i'd have to do the whole car matte black :pac: but as we all know, matte black is just a cheap cop out for a proper paint job and a sin.

do you reckon the supra owner is selling up because he will have to keep it taxed now at a cost of €500 for 3 months? and the best way to shift it is with a little tax still attached. its clearly loved, i feel bad for him.

ELX just leccy windows and colour coded bumpers on that model, not the 40%+ power hike you got on the facelift mk1.

You might be right. The other bits have to be from halfords though. They are the specialists when it comes to fake chrome:pac:

i don't know. takes a lot more than an aerosol of simoniz tyre shine to fool someone. odd wheels, missing fogs and a lot of bumps and bruises. i'd say the test is out in January.

i'd say its never seen a days love or maintenance in its life.

    just saying...

but if your Irish it has a 1.9 TDi with a "serious pull" and a whisker of NCT, better buy it quick!

Especially those lovely chrome car mats. Make you want to rush out and buy a lowered Honda Civic to put them into.:D

That jag is a nice car, been for sale for ages though and if I were paying top tax I would want the 4.0 n/a or XJR

Ah. Best mate had the Mk1 ELX and it was far more powerful and refined (and luxury) than the cheaper models. I could have sworn it was quieter on the inside too. I was presuming same applied to the Mk2 cars :(

Agree if paying top tax may as well have the max cc.

Price is a bit steep for 1995 model:)
