PS4 Pre-Order Thread! Where are you getting yours?

I have one ordered from Gamestop from late July....I also ordered one from Amazon 3 weeks ago. I have the action pack bundle secured from Amazon on release day, I wont get it release day due to post, but I don't really mind as its my son's xmas present! But Gamestop still cant give me a delivery date for the console I ordered in July!

If it's a racing game you want, with DriveClub also delayed, your only option is Need for Speed: Rivals. I played it at Eurogamer Expo and it was good.

If you wouldn't mind moving away from the driving genre, there are a few free-to-play games coming out at launch like War Thunder and Planetside 2. Also, Killzone: Shadow Fall looks (and plays) fantastically.

Ya i think I might get need for speed il have a look at some videos, I reckon COD will do me for shooting.

I ordered from Gamestop in early June and got confirmed just last week. I wished I ordered from Amazon. Using postal motel I would have gotten the next day and I would have gotten the bundle.

You can change your delivery method in your account and you won't loose your place from amazon.

Are you sure, as I was speaking to an Amazon rep, and he wasn't sure... said its possible it will change delivery date, but I don't want to try in case it does.

Has anyone changed their address with success for the pre order?

I believe they've stopped taking Bundle orders, but you could always go through the process of buying the PS4 etc, and see what delivery date it gives you.

They don't charge you until it is dispatched.

Yes i did it changed from my home address to my parcelmotel address one and didn't impact my delivery date, you can also up the insurance with parcelmotel from €100 to €500 for a 14 day period for 3.50. But please make sure you set up the pm address on amazon correctly and make sure you quote the correct PM number otherwise someone else might end up with your ps4 bundle! This happened to me last week got a text to pickup parcel and it was an amazon delivery but the buyer incorrectly put the wrong PM number on the amazon address. Might be worthwhile buying a cd from amazon to make sure it arrives to your parcelmotel ok!

Amazon UK moved the order date for bundles forward (I had assumed they emailed everyone who pre-ordered and hadn't already chosen a bundle) to 28 October so there's still time. There was a glitch last week on their system where people who changed their address and or payment method were being bumped to the back of the queue and given a new delivery estimate, they were supposed to have it sort in two day and it took them over a week, but it is fixed now.

HN have basically taken hundreds of pre orders for the PS4, and now they are taking more preorders for the the bundles, rather than upgarding customers who pre-ordered months ago, a bit like Gamestop, people who ordered online should be kicking up more of a fuss, give them bad press for this... considering there isnt much competition out there nowadays.

I really want one of those red controllers.....

Currently in the states till next year but they arent launching this here till "later in the year" so hopefully by early 2014 I can pick one up.

yeah... I got a phone call about 2 weeks ago and up graded to the mega bundle... I was number 3 on the pre order list...

Im #1 on the megabundle list in my gamestop:P , didn't get a call after the instore pre-order upgrade tho.

yeah... you should get in touch with them... I got a phone call out of the blue asking if I wanted to upgrade to a bundle because I was so high up on their pre order list, was too pushed on a bundle, but went for the killzone mega bundle because of the extra controller and camera and game, as long as I get a ps4 on launch I don't mind....

Well we will not know till the launch date, but I can imagine loads seeing that every retailer is guilty of overselling their pre orders, even the people who were told that the cut of point was the 20th of July may not get one if they ordered before that date, know my Gamestop is only getting 60 consoles in for launch.

I preordered in gamestop on the 25th of august. Asked recently about bundles and the guy in the shop said they don't know wheter they will do them because they don't need to. I.e let's shaft the customers because we know we can.

Im hoping amazon confirm my order dispatch date soon. If so I'll be cancelling my order with gamestop.

If you have a gift card balance on your account, you just need to go to your orders and select the ps4 order, it will give you an option at the top of the screen to use your gift card balance on that order now. Pretty cool
