Was paying off more off mine in xtravision. Member of staff said that the hmv/xtravisions were getting 1000 normal ps4's and 2000 bundles between all the branded stores. More people ordered normal rather then bundles, so they will be contacted to see if they want to upgrade.
Im still down for the mega bundle though.
I'm getting the mega bundle to killzone look pretty good and also BF4 can't wait till 29 nov.I say people will upgrade to a bundle they be mad not to get a bundle.

Whoever told you that is talking through his ass, Gamestop are not even getting close to 500 bundles on launch and they are getting more consoles than Smyth's and Xtravision combined.

You can't know what smyths or xtravision/hmv are getting. Your pal works for gs. They hardly share that type of information

They do, Sony informed them of the demand and supply of the whole country and what other stores are expecting, the other stores were represented as well, they want the consumer to be as informed as possible and want them to all get the right information, which is not happening as it stands. You have 1 million consoles outside North America to be spread among launch countries between launch and the end of December, divide that up per capita and we are not getting much at launch.

My local xtravision said they are getting 1000 normal ps4's and 2000 bundles aswell countrywide, this is going to get interesting

Well I think there 32 xtravision so 62 consoles per store which would cover wave 1

For a company that has closed half its stores this year and were only saved by Hilco Capital months after pre orders started, do you really think they will get more bundles than Gamestop and more than a established company like Smyths, all these stores have known for a month now what they are getting, newly reopened HMV's are not even taking launch day pre orders, it is a fantasy to think those numbers are real, look through this thread and see what other stores are expected to get, they are not even using lists in some Xtra Vision stores.

He said it was for the concession stores, not all of them.
    Artane Castle
    Ashleaf
    Athlone
    Balbriggan
    Ballina
    Blackpool
    Carlow
    Castlebar
    Cavan
    Clonmel
    Douglas
    Drogheda
    Dundalk
    Edenderry
    Ennis
    Enniscorthy
    Galway S.C
    Greystones
    Letterkenny
    Mullingar
    Navan
    Nenagh
    Newbridge
    Omagh
    Portlaoise
    Shannon
    Sligo
    Thurles
    Tullamore
    Wexford
    Wicklow
It is interesting that someone else was told the same as me, shows that is what xtravision staff/management are being told.
That would make it on average rounding down 32 standalones and 64 bundles per store. Probably have some getting more then others too then of course.
Either way, it will be interesting to see what happens. You would wonder why the stores would be told such figures if they weren't true.

Lads regarding games, where would be the cheapest place to get them?

I really do not know where you are getting your info from. Xtra Vision ARE using lists . You DO NOT KNOW how many consoles any trader is getting. You are spreading rumours ...and thats all they are for now.

I will stress my point i made earlier in the thread "Amazon will not make promises for pre xmas delivery withouth been able to deliver them" . Amazon will know how many consoles they will have from Sony, their not just guessing...unlike you ;).

All will be revealed by xmas.

The bottom line is.. whoever wants a console will get one.......eventually.....

Amazon, and they have free first class postage to the UK for pre-orders, so if you use parcel motel you can get them on release day or maybe before.
Gamestop PS4 games are all at least 65-70  crazy money.

Although their some whom feel entitled to a console at launch once the thought crosses their mind..........they are the ones that bother me.

Bit disappointing that some places are taken peoples orders for bundles as a different pre order list, to the PS4 on it's own.

HN have basically taken hundreds of pre orders for the PS4, and now they are taking more preorders for the the bundles, rather than upgarding customers who pre-ordered months ago, a bit like Gamestop, people who ordered online should be kicking up more of a fuss, give them bad press for this... considering there isnt much competition out there nowadays.

I ordered on Amazon 28th August, spoke with CS, and they said I should get it before Xmas.

Updated my bundle last week to Gamer Pack, and I recieved a order update 2 days ago of delivery for the 29th Nov.

    jTqE5Wb.jpg

    Gamer Bundle(KZ,Camera,2x DS4), Magma DS4, Ghost Dogs + express delivery €580.

HN Bundle for €588 is PS4, 2x DS4 and Two Games.

    Massive price difference.

I've pre order in both HN and Amazon, so if Amazon charge me first (day of dispatch) I'll give away my HN pre order, but if they look like happening the same day, il just head to Harvey Norman.

https://www.videogamesplus.ca would be your best bet, postage is only €5 euro and they usually take about 7-9 days to deliver.

Are PS4 games region locked? Good site alright, paying €45 is a lot better than giving GS €65-70

Delivery is free on all orders over £25 to ROI if you choose Super Saver Delivery & buy direct from Amazon rather than a reseller. No need for Parcel Motel in this case

Customs are apparently checking everything lately, it'd be worth factoring in duty charges if you're importing

They usually say the contents of the package are dvd's and say the worth is only 30 dollars, but you are right you should be wary.

They are region free, the DLC might be region locked it was with the PS3, but you can work around that by buying a PSN card off the US amazon and then making a US profile on your console and then buying the DLC from the US PSN store.

Thanks for that. Great deal there on Amazon. Gonna pop to HN today and try upgrade from the €439 deal. They said when putting down €20 deposit (recently in person) that if €588 bundle became available for order again, would not lose place in Q. But don't agree with Q-jumping in any form either. Will let yee know. That Magma controller class!

Anytime I ordered from them they marked the package as being worth 20 or 30 quid

Is it possible to cancel a preorder with GameStop? Still getting a PS4, just not on launch.

    Online or in store?
If it's online you just need to email them to cancel.

If it is online can you say it was down to their treatment of online customers, and that you buying it off Amazon or someone else just to rub it in.
