23, my mistake. So young.

True, I remember before the Clare game last year a few here and a lot on the hurling firkin wanted him full back for the seniors. A great hurler, a great service to his county.

Had a huge performance against us in the U-21 semi-final in 2011. Him and Grealish dominated in the air.

Burst onto the scene in 2012 and there were constant calls for him to be FB. Very sad. RIP.

Being from Kilkenny we like to have a few digs with Galway hurling wise but I'm sure I speak for all from Kilkenny when I say how sorry I am at the loss of this young man. May he rest in peace.

From a Waterford supporter all I can say is I'm heartbroken. What a talent Niall was. I know I speak for the rest of the Waterford supporters when I send on my condolences to his family and friends. RIP Niall.
